We had the smallest room in the house, but was comfortable and quiet. It is a little out of town but that is balanced by the quiet location. The home cooked food is to die for, cannot praise the food enough. Bar service was a bit slow, it was like raising the dead to get served, but it was a pleasant ambience.

My Dad and I stayed here for 3 nights with the aim of exploring the region and climbing Ben Nevis. We arrived at the B&B where we were shown to our room - a decent sized twin room with the expected facilities - the room was clean but some parts were tired and in need of some TLC - the toilet seat was broken and the shelving in the bathroom had had one too many glasses of Scotch. The room was situated by the main door into the B&B which wasn't too much of an issue but it was mildly irritating having people walking in and out of the main door all evening, this was made worse by the creaky floorboards outside of the room. Due to an early morning departure for Ben Nevis on the first day we missed breakfast. We did get to breakfast on day 2 when we asked modestly for toast. We were

Although a bit out of Oban this is a little gem. The views from the dining room are spectacular and also from our bedroom You are made to feel very welcome on arrival and the room was spotless and a nice touch of chocolates by your bedside, Oban is only 10 mins drive away where there is plenty of shops or a the port for exploring further. We had a lovely meal at the guesthouse on our first night which is an option for all guests with a variety of choices and cooked to order The bed is comfortable and the shower is lovely and hot, Overall this is a excellent guesthouse.

We stayed for 5 nights as we used Oban as a base for re-visiting our favourite places in that area of the Highlands. The food was very good at breakfast and with plenty of choice. We had an evening meal the first night which we enjoyed. The good points were that the bedding was changed in the middle of our stay, fresh towels and bathroom replenished daily. The hosts were attentive, helpful and welcoming. Room 1, although quite acceptably decorated and furnished has a view of the back yard wall which makes the main part of the bedroom very dark. The bathroom overlooks the back entrance which is used by other visitors. It was rather disconcerting to think that at night, with the bathroom light on there was no blind just a net curtain - I found myself hoping no one could see in!

Very convenient B&B if looking for somewhere south of Oban. We've stayed there twice and both rooms were comfortable with high quality bathroom requisites. They offer an evening meal which features a surprisingly comprehensive menu. There is a small bar which stocks over 200 single malts! They also provide table wines in small bottles. The food really is first class and is exceptional value.
