We stayed at the Retreat toward the end of April. The environment, the fauna and the peace of the place were enchanting. The food and the company of Preetam, Pallavi and Ahana was delightful. Would we return one day? We very much expect to!

Hi, We are planning a trip in August to Bageshwar and Binsar (Kumaon) Is it a good time to travel in August (with respect to rains) Not sure about the kind of rainfall the region gets, if its heavy then we would most likely avoid, when do the rains subside

Hi, it rains in August naturally. Kumaon is quite beautiful in the rains, though. Since Kumaon is not rocky, we don't see major landslides during the monsoons. Best, Preetam
