This was one of the worst meals we've had and one of the most expensive. Rude service. My food was inedible. My companions had marginally better food but not food. I ate one bite and spit mine out. Maybe the grilled fish is good but as soon as he saw he wasn't going to sell any to us he was... More

There is many places you should go to here, this is definitively not one of them. Avoid this place unless you don't have choice.. Service is slow, waiter is unfriendly/rude, the place isn't cheap and worst food is terrible. I feel i will regret it in the next hours... Only positive point, there is a view on the beach.

This is situated just on the beach. Good place to stay for a night. You can see the sea with the rising sun sleeping on your bed (though you have to keep your door open for that). There are AC rooms. The common place connecting all rooms have tables and chairs where you can sit and relax watching the sea.

Nice open air bar and restaurant with good collection of fresh sea food and drinks. The rooms are clean and comfy, and all of this is at very affordable prices. It is perfect for a relaxing weekend, where you can sip coffee sitting in the balcony with the strong sea breeze gushing across your face. The beach is right next... More

Cons: A/C temperature varies according to its own will. It was like a non A/C room most of the time. Staff is not cooperative and will hustle you if you don't bargain. After 8pm the staff are non existent. At no point will they give any kind of room service. Cleanness and ventilation Pros: Proximity to beach and view On... More

This is a budget B&B accomodation right on the beach. Room is pretty basic but clean and we enjoyed the terrace outside the room a lot! we were a little less impressed with staff, not the friendliest ever... Make sure you get what you pay for, our room rate suddenly turned out to be non a/c despite other inications at... More

The room was not very clean, with no towel or toilet paper when we arrived, but OK for a budget stay. The restaurant upstairs was very poor, by far the worst meal we had in nearly 4 weeks in India, and the prices were higher than they should be - 200 Rs per tiger prawn, cooked unimaginatively. Shoddy service, and... More

Budget price and on the beach front. Average for the price, rooms was OK but it could do with a bit of a clean especially the bathroom and the sheets and towels had a lot of stains on them although they smelled freshly washed. Have stayed in much cleaner brighter rooms for the same price but it was OK. Bed... More

This hotel is at the budget end of things. Room was clean enough for a few nights, but don't look too close. We had room 101 looking over the bay to the shore temple. The A/C does not work, the sink is not plumbed in, but sitting on the terrace drinking cold Kingfisher, eating freshly caught Red Snapper masala fried,... More

Booked the hotel online after a disgusting experience with other hotels around the area. Though booked online they did not provide the room in the building shown in the pic but in an annexe (jagjanani)a couple of houses away. I was politely spoken to and apologised (rarity in Mahab towards indians). The room provided was good, neat and clean. one... More
