Having visited Jaipur city previously, we decided to visit Samode village , Palace and Bagh ( gardens ) this time around, a 1 1/2 hour drive from the City. We were not disappointed. The village and Bagh were interesting to witness village life and economy ( sweets and yoghurt made as you drive past ), the Bagh a well maintained...

Samode Palace hotel was a peaceful respite during our Indian travels. Set amongst beautiful gardens and including a spacious suite our stay in January was delightful. The hotel features two restaurants serving great food but a special mention must be given to the Fine Dining restaurant which served modern Indian cuisine in a wonderful luxurious setting. The Duck Kedgeree was...

We have been to India several times and would rate this beautiful place as one of our highlights. The service and warmth of the staff is second to none. The rooms are just gorgeous. The food is great and the Palace is atmospheric and gracious. The real 'jewel in the crown' that is Samode is the village itself. Make sure...

We organized our daughter’s wedding at Samode Palace, Jaipur on 18th and 19th December 2014 after conducting over six month’s research for a suitable venue. We zeroed in for Samode Palace as they offered a complete wedding package, including what a wedding planner would have done, which we liked since it was otherwise difficult for us to manage remotely from...

Samode Palace is an extraordinary and welcoming hotel. It is a former Raja's palace (about 400 years old), and is decorated exquisitely in many of the rooms some of which are, in effect, museum objects in their own right. The staff are absolutely delightful, and enormously proud of the hotel: nothing is too much trouble, and they are endlessly kind...

Wow. Great property, 400 plus year old Palace ,cradled in the foot hills. Fantastic buffet and a la carte restaurant, efficient service. Like stepping back in time. We only stayed one night, and would highly recommend this to be added to any itinerary. A 3 day wedding was commencing the day we left, and the decorations and flowers that were...

If i can i would have rated it 6 stars. Its serves as a tourist attraction for me. Service was exceptional. Nirmal the server was so thoughtful to have packed lunch for us knowing that we will be going on a day tour in Jaipur. He even reserved a nice table for us at the fine dining indian restaurant the...

We stayed here in October and are still talking about our night here. We were a little worried about our stay, after reading a few average reviews about this property - we really shouldn't have worried. This place is amazing. If you are reading this and haven't yet booked I would highly recommend staying at least two nights if your...

Visited Samode Palace in August for a quick getaway. The drive to the palace itself is exciting since one has to pass through the quaint Samode village to reach the palace. Once there, the excitement is only heightened once you look at the towering ramparts and what lies beyond. And it docent disappoint. The service is excellent the food even...

So I just recently stayed at the Samod palace in Jaipur and I totally loved it. In the midst of the mountains and a fort, this lovely old palace is rebuilt into a hotel with luxury rooms with contemporary fittings but not letting the ethnic flavour of the palace fade. The rooms are spacious and neat. Staff is very friendly....
