The Haveli is great, genuinely old authentic probably one of the best authentic cultural experiences we had for accommodation. Absolutely loved it, It is an old Haveli done up as such somethings are a little basic and bed was hard but we were willing to over look that for the atmosphere. What really spoiled it was we chose to eat...

We stayed here for one night a few days back. The Haveli is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and kind. The owner takes good care of the place. It is centrally located with nice, old charm, simple rooms. The only thing we did not like is the Dinner, it was very simple and tasteless and is next to a mosque....

We stayed only one night in Mandawa and actually had some mixed feelings about our stay there. It seems that the Indian tourism board is heavily promoting Mandawa as an upcoming destination. Yes, the haveli’s are indeed great and worth a visit and yes, although definitely not off the beaten track as some might think, there might be less tourists...

Hotel Madawa is a unique architecture with a blend of old culture and history embedded in every object of the Haveli. I was there with my friends on an official visit. The care taken by then people was wonderful. It was nice to see the owner himself supervising many things in the hotel and restaurant on day to day basis....

This haveil is a typical example of the old, once well painted haveli's with an inner court and three floors of bedrooms. Located in the center of the town. The rooms and services provided are ok, but very basic.

Myself and a friend stayed here for 2 nights 05-06 July 2013 and we were one of 3 rooms filled. Building work still going on however we were there out of season. There was a builder on top of our room so we had banging from 10ish to 5ish and when we told the receptionist he just assured us he...

What a great introduction to the Shekawati area! Mandawa Haveli has had a tasteful restoration and really sets the scene for the area. Beds were comfortable, bathroom a touch grimy, but acceptable and the interior courtyard was really fab. Ate out at night, but the experience of the restaurant for breakfast was not so good - smelled bad although the...

This was the first hotel we stayed in in Rajastan at the start of a 3 week holiday. and it was a very good beginning. It's a lovely place, well restored. Unfortunately, when we were there in February the weather was very cold, and there is no heating in the rooms, but the staff happily provided extra blankets. And if...

(ghost not included) This is a stunning place. Like sleeping somewhere 400 years ago. Each room is different, so ask to see a selection to choose the one you like best. I was on the upper floor. The decoration of the building is magnificent. The staff are charming. A dream if you like heritage and authenticity. Avoid the restaurant.
