This property seems to be decent on net and with travel agents. The property is badly managed. Half of the first floor wing is not operational. You would have to call reception to get the Tata Sky working in the room as the account might not be active. The ACs are not very effective. Swimming pool is good. The buffet... More

We stayed at the Udai Vilas Palace as a weekend getaway from Delhi with my wife and 2 year old daughter. It was almost a 6-7 hour drive, but the place was worth it. Pls note - Our priority was to show our daughter a good time, and hence, the review may be biased to that effect. We left Delhi... More

We did not expect to find such a place in a desert town called Mandawa. But there it was - sure and steady. The hotel is not for the luxury traveller, but would suit everyone else. Rooms are basic but spacious. Food is okay. The breakfast was nice on a corridor table overlooking the swimming pool. Good parathas, fresh milk,... More

An ok hotel, which in its day, would have been quite grand. Rooms large, but dated. Clean but basic. Stayed here on a Tripadeal tour, having paid extra for "premium" hotels. I wouldn't call this premium, rather, standard. Grounds quite nice; pool clean There are 54 rooms, and we were the only 4 people there. Admittedly, it IS summer, so... More

Over a fifty of us were on the way to our 40th year reunion (of joining our undergrad school which is about 1.5 hrs drive from this place-- stayed here as the college does not have enough accommodation for alumni). Mid December we were on a private tour that visited Mandawa town in Rajasthan (a very interesting place close to Delhi). The hotel is a short distance from the town itself in a walled area (it is in the desert), and resembles a palace. The grounds are very large and tranquil, as are the guest rooms, and ours overlooked the... More
