We stayed 2 nights to conclude our Norway trip. It is a 20-minute drive from Otta. The hotel situates at a relative higher point in the vicinity. We were assigned to Room 4 and the view was excellent towards Rondane especially at sunset. There is a small platform outside for sitting and enjoy the scene in open air. There are...

Rooms have recently been refurbished and are very comfortable. Food very good although no choice on two nights - the third night was an excellent buffet. Owner / manager very welcoming and helpful even lending us his car to drive to local shop.

Easily accessible by car, and with terrain suitable for all levels of physical fitness - from the toughest hiker to the relaxed rambler - this friendly mountain hotel is one of the best I have visited. The management went that extra mile to make my stay enjoyable - from small, but important things, like automatically serving me, a solo traveller,...

The only regret my husband and I had about this hotel was that we couldn't stay longer! Our stay was absolutely lovely. This hotel's location is unbeatable in terms of beauty and access to hiking trails in the nearby national park. Though we did not stay in one of the recently renovated rooms, any sacrifice in amenities was more than...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days with 22 people. The views are amazing, the food is excellent especially on Saturdays when there is a buffet, breakfast has a good choice of things, the rooms have recently been refurbished, the hotel and rooms are clean. There is no noise, so good sleeping. The owners are superfriendly and helpful. There...

We in fact stayed in their campsite next to the hotel. This was an amazing location ideally located for cycling and walking. The campsite was well equipped though could have had more toilets and washing facilities. Having said that the showers and toilets were always kept very clean. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. The hotel itself was perhaps a...

We stayed in the what must be the "lodge" while at the Rondane Haukliseter Fjellhotell. It was clean, beautifully updated and furnished. It even had a sauna in one of the baths. One wall was windows and we loved the view of the valley below. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The linens on the beds were the...

Have stayed at this hotel 6 times and am already looking forward to my next stay. Rooms are fairly plain, but clean. Good, Norwegian food. Welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic nature suited for all ages and physical ambitions!

We stayed here on the recommendation of the owners of Øigardseter Fjellestue – see previous review- as we wished to stay there again, but they were on holiday, so directed us here. It may be a timely reminder of the fact that some Norwegian hotels and attractions open in the summer only from the end of June to the end...
