This review is for the restaurant only. Came here in a party of 13. Plenty of space, even though there was another large party in the same room. Food was good, various new (to us) dishes, staff were friendly. But they were slow! We booked for 8.00, all present soon after, but orders were not taken until 9.00. Did have...

We stayed here right at the end of September and beginning of October. We had booked in January but when we arrived it didn't seem they were expecting us. We were shown to a room at around 2.30pm and were immediately hit by a very loud PA system being tested. We went downstairs to enquire and found that a massive...

We stayed here last night following a day at the races. The bedroom was pretty tatty, loose electrical fittings & could do with a new carpet but the bathroom was spotless, likewise the bedding & the bed was very comfortable. Our room was at the back so there was no traffic noise & we did not here any noise from...

We stayed in room 1, paid £55 per night including full English breakfast, we stayed for 2 night. This hotel is also a Nepalese restaurant, we did not eat in the restaurant but it was very busy on the Saturday night. Easy to find and plenty of on site parking. Bedroom and bathroom were clean but were very small 2/5,...

Went to the Woolaston Gurkha for a meal with friends who had got Married the day before. The staff were very friendly and gave good service. The food we had was fantastic, nice hot plates and all served very fresh. I recommend the Keema Nan, best I've had.

The Gurkha restaurant serves beautiful, authentic Nepalese and Asian food. Much nicer than the usual gooey gunk from many curry houses. However, the service, which can be intermittent on quiet days is polite but not exactly welcoming. The Hotel accommodation is OK, a little worn around the edges but passable. However this is where the customer service is really non...

Despite the pub name & appearance, this is an excellent Ghurka restaurant with freshly prepared, delicious, and unusual dishes. Large dining area, so ideal for large parties, rear outside terrace and 'snug' pub bar for pre-drinks, or for locals to just have a pint, this place is always popular. Although a bit of a 'fusion' of two entities / identities, it...
