Our stay at Avalon Lodge was in a word - faultless. Our room was very well appointed, the breakfast was delicious and of high quality. We have stayed in many B & B's over the years, but no one has been more attentive and welcoming than Nick and Jenny were during our recent visit.

Thank you Nick and Jenny a short but sweet stay having called last minute on Monday due to a work commitment on the Tuesday. From the initial phone call through to a welcome with coffee and mince pies, very comfortable room and a splendid breakfast you couldn't have been more welcoming. Have a great Christmas and New Year and I...

What a wonderful place! Tea and beautiful home made mince pies in the lounge on arrival, together with a lovely Christmas tree. Room was very comfortable and the bed most welcome after a tiring day. Breakfast was very tasty, with a good choice of hot breakfasts along with cereals etc. Nick was very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

What a great B&B and Nick and Jenny could not have been more inviting and generous. Our room had all you could want and the bonus of a fridge. There were so many small comforts, a handy microwave on the guest floor and the availability of the dining room in the evening for our take away was a boon. Everywhere...

We were down in Devizes to go to a friends gig, and the prices in town for a 3 person room were more than we were willing to pay for what was offered. So we decided to look further afield, and we are so very glad we did ! A short taxi ride into town was pretty reasonable from here....

I cannot say enough good things about this B&B. It is super clean, very comfortable and we had a beautiful view out of our window. Nick and Jenny were very friendly and kind. Just one word of caution- our GPS/Sat nav took us through a rural route to get here, which was very far out of the way. It would...

This is a wonderful B and B, the rooms are clean and VERY quiet, the quality f the furnishings and towels was what you would expect in a top class hotel. Toiletries are freely available so don't worry if you forget shampoo or even your flannel, it's all available for you to use. Great value for money, nothing was too...
