The pub is ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds being equidistant to Burford and Stow on the Wold. There is a quaint charm to the place, enhanced by really super staff who are helpful and professional. Although a little dated, our room overlooked the paddock where Tilly the mare came to say good morning each day! The breakfast is included... More

They all went out of their way to make us... More

We booked a family room at the Merrymouth Inn at the last minute. The first thing that struck me was how reasonable the room rate was... Especially in the Cotswolds! The room was immaculate and a really nice size. The inn is set in wonderful surroundings and the recommended 4 mile dog walk was spot on! The host, Bill, was... More

Very peaceful, food good, hosts friendly. I would say it needs a clean up in some areas and some investment, such as up graded furniture. Has a lot of charm and you are made to feel welcome. We would return.

We went for a road trip from Berlin to Dublin. The MerryMouth Inn was one of our personal highlights on our journey through Belgium, France and England. Our room was comfy with a lovely view. The staff was really nice and I can recommend from the menu Bill's lasagne! Anna

I have often stayed at The Merrymouth over a number of years when in the UK on business or vacation. You only come back to a place because you love it! The hosts, Bill & Mo, always remember past guests and welcome them warmly, like long lost friends. The food is delicious and could not be fresher. They always have... More
