My partner and I very much like Premier Inn hotels and the Winnersh, near Reading is no exception. It would appear to be relatively new and is extremely clean and well-maintained throughout. The service is very good as well. Possibly, my only slight gripe is with the music played over the P A system in the adjoining restaurant, both during breakfast and in the evening. It is anything but sophisticated and, at times, quite loud. I could have done without it, but my complaint could be made about similar establishments up and down the country. Despite this, I'd readily stay at the hotel again. Top marks!

Room 126 above bar drill/vibration noises every hour or so TV channels are all mixed up some don't work at all Aircon temperature couldn't control/too warm The breakfast is very good and a very polite lady Sarah always a smile on her face

Booked here before a flight out of Heathrow. Requested 2 rooms, top floor, end of the corridor which was honoured. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Had a great night’s sleep. Staff good as well.

Really enjoyable stay - everything was perfect. Quiet and relaxing room with excellent facilities. Comfy bed and crisp content sheets. Great restaurant with excellent food, had the breakfast and evening meal deal which was really good value for money for such gorgeous food and great service in such lovely surroundings

The 1 star rating is solely down to 1 member of staff - Scott on reception. I stayed here for approximately a year, a premier inn is a premier inn you know what to expect and the bar & block restaurant next door is very good however the manager of the premier inn is called Scott and he has a huge chip on his shoulder, I'm a laid back guy and he made me that uncomfortable that I moved to the Wokingham premier inn. Squared up to me multiple times. Followed me into the lift multiple times. Knocked on my door early hours of the morning when I have work. Honestly I await the Netflix series about this man, something isn't right.

This Premier Inn was clean well presented and had friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it. The restaurant attached was pretty good too. Only gripe was breakfast, I’d prefer as all you can eat breakfast to be a buffet, not a waitress coming to take your order.
