The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, most of the guests went outside but not one member of staff made an appearance until after the fire service arrived (called by one of the guests). When someone did eventually arrive, he didn't know how to silence the alarm, it was another 15 minutes before they went off....

The rooms are ok, nothing special and definitely not the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The bathroom needs attention - badly. The shower had such little pressure that it was difficult to wash my (very short) hair and there was a leak from either the toilet or the sink which left the floor with a puddle of (clean, thankfully!)...

My friends and I stayed here for a wedding, room was clean and tidy, had a good quiet nights sleep, breakfast was excellent! Staff went above and beyond making our stay smooth and enjoyable, they even took my friend to the wedding venue when her car broke down so she didn't miss the big day!! Lovely staff and place! Thank...

Me and 2 friends stayed in a triple room in August and couldn't have asked for any better service or breakfast! One of my friends was having car problems and when it looked like she wouldn't make the wedding on time as she couldn't drive from the inn to the church, and all taxis would take over 40mins to get...

Me and my friends went to see our good friend perform at the pub last night, while she was a little nervous, we thought she did very well. When we first arrived there were our friends and a couple of locals sitting in the other bar. We were enjoying the evening until we were told by our friend at 21:45...

Stayed here for Reading festival. We arrived early on the Saturday morning just wanting to leave our car and check in after the festival. However, the very friendly staff allowed us to check in early for no extra cost. Room is good, clean with a decent bathroom. Breakfast included was good too. Reasonably priced with friendly staff. Would stay again

I stayed at the Pheasant Inn while in the area for a friends wedding. While there I had car trouble and the staff went above and beyond to help me. They were so friendly and helpful and I cannot recommend them enough! Room was clean and tidy and had a yummy breakfast the next day. We had a wonderful weekend...

The Pheasant Inn, Winnersh is centrally located between Reading and Wokingham and 10 minutes walk from Winnersh railway station with access to Reading, Waterloo and even Gatwick express via Wokingham. It is situated on A 329 Reading Road opposite a large Sainsbury supermarket and on a bus route. The room itself was roomy, clean, comfortable and quiet. It is well...

I had a twin room on Wednesday night. Initially the hotel (- pub with separate building with the accommodation in) looked pleasant and the room itself was large and airy. Unfortunately the fist thing I did was go to fill the kettle, which was filthy inside and out and actually had fluff and dirt around the plug, which obviously could...

The welcome was less than friendly. The room tries to be up market but fails miserably. One drawer had French baguette crumbs in it The over bed fan was filthy. So much dust it was hanging down. Some one had put the individual toiletries over the shower panel and they had not been cleared away. What else hadn't been cleaned?...
