We were so looking forward to our cream tea but missed it as we arrived so much later than we'd thought we would! We were given an unexpected upgrade in rooms and had a wonderfully luxurious room. I wish we'd stayed at a time of fewer midges so as to enjoy the waterfall.. we weren't tough enough to handle them! And I wish we'd arrived earlier.. other than that, we could not complain about a single thing! Parking on site, lovely area to explore, wonderful breakfast! And we're really, really sorry we forgot to hand in out keys!! Posted back, so hopefully all good. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We had finished our cycle from Mizen head to Malin Head and this was our last night. What a great place. So friendly and such a country atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable and with a marvellous view towards the sea. The breakfast was all you expect in the perfect 'full Irish'.

Called in for refreshments after 4.00 pm. Glen House was not overly busy at this time of the evening. We sat down at a sticky table which had not been wiped down. There were 3 other people waiting to be served and 2 others with their children who had been fed. My husband visited the bathroom and met no members of staff enroute. We must have sat 15 minutes waiting to be seen and had a table covered in dirty dishes with left over food strewn over the table and under the baby's high chair on one side of us and another table with dirty dishes and cutlery on it behind us. We were just on the point of leaving when a waitress appeared and took an order from the table of three people. Our table was then wiped down and we were asked what we would like. I am unsure whether the staff were

Just enjoyed a really special home-made lunch here. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Excellent value too. We both had soup and a sandwich which was freshly made. Well done Hlen House. We will definitely return and recommend you.

Noticed this place on the drive through the Gap and decided to stop for lunch. Purely a speculative thing, however we were delighted with the food and the service. Lovely atmosphere of an "Olde World" type tea shop with decor and china to match. Lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you're in the Clonmany area
