It is a perfect location for lovers of history, hill walking, bird watching or just exploring the fantastic countryside and beaches on offer. We are within a 5 minutes driving distance from the renowned Ballyliffin championship golf club. We are a family run guest house with 9 en-suite bedrooms. Such a relaxing Easter Monday sitting in front warm open fire on rainy windy day. Service and staff so welcoming making it a home from home. The afternoon tea experience is a real credit to this place. Prefect gem in clonmany. I will be back again and again. Yum yum

There is something deeply magical about the north of Donegal County! In a setting of breathtaking beauty, we cannot imagine a better place to stay than at Glen House in the loving care of Sonia, the proprietor. Our flight to Donegal was delayed from Dublin so we arrived at 11.30pm and Sonia was there to welcome us with tea and delicious pastries long after the normal check-in time. Over the 4 nights with her and the excellent staff, we felt more at home than in any similar accommodation we have ever stayed – and we are inveterate world-travelers! Sonia was just preparing for the formal opening of the Glenevin Waterfall Park which is a scenic 15-minute trail starting at Glen House along a brook and ending in a thrilling waterfall. Among her many friends are the owners of tourist

We stayed at the Glen House our first night in Ireland. I was exhausted after the flight and then driving to Clonmany. The Glen House is a lovely old house and it's well appointed. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast room is a lovely bright room with lots of sunlight. The food was very good. It was one of the best Irish breakfasts we ended up having. I felt that it was a very good value. However, I'm the sort of person that would never choose a fancy hotel over a charming country inn like this. I prefer the unique and more interesting experience over the sameness that one experiences with large chains.
