Gorgeous scenery. Rough road for a car. Cabins although rustic are clean. They do need to install a plug in in each cabin though. Bathrooms and shower house are a completely different story. Shower house is filthy and due to improper propane hot water heater installed without appropriate piping. One gets dirtier just by entering. Also in a 24 hour...

Tried to book a cabin that supposedly sleeps 8 people for my group of 7 and they refused as it was brand new and they "didn't want that many people staying in the cabin." Tried to get me to rent 2 cabins instead. Might have been a cash grab to get us to spend more money on an extra cabin...

I have many amazing childhood memories of Oyama Lake Fishing Resort but my most recent visit there was for our wedding. Admittedly it’s not a very conventional wedding venue, but the hosts Chicky and Deanna were so helpful and understanding throughout it all. Deanna answered all my questions for the year proceeding concerning the cabins, facilities, weather, occupancy, sleep apnea...

We love this place and we come back often! Our wedding was so great, the owners bend over backwards to help us deal with the minor breakdowns that you maybe not expect, like pouring rain at an outdoor wedding. We are very grateful for their help. Planning a wedding here is not for the faint of heart, but it was...

This is an amazing place to visit and a great place for family and friends. There is a beautiful lake and awesome cabins that provide you with the comfort of being away from home and they are very well kept! The location is remote and it is very peaceful :) just what you need to escape the city life! the...

We just returned from an amazing week at Oyama Lake Wilderness Fishing Resort. We stayed in Cabin 9 which has the best panoramic view of the lake. This cozy cottage boasts all the necessities of home: three double beds including 2 in the loft, a kitchen with propane stove, a “bar” fridge, hot water, shower, toilet and a wood stove....

The Cabin we stayed in was a hole. We were told that they had "blankets" on the bed but really, they were unwashed bed sheets. There were deer mice in the out houses, no lock on your small cabins door which was scary. We called in advance to ask if the road was suitable for a car to drive up...

We went to this resort as it was recommended by a co-worker for the peacefulness and beauty. We were not disappointed at all; we were welcomed by the owners when we registered. We walked into Trapper Cabin#2 not sure it would be like the pictures on the website. It was not because the pictures do not show how absolutely amazing...
