Facilities include a restaurant, bar, fresh water pool and complimentary WiFi connection. The wide and breezy wrap-around verandas on both ground and first floors have clusters of comfortable chairs making an ideal location to relax, read or just soak up the tranquility of the surrounding tropical gardens. Our colourful landscaped gardens with seasonal flowering trees also include mangoes, bananas, plaintains, fig bananas, limes, avacado and grapefruit. These attract a variety of wildlife including the Barbados green monkey. Arrangements have been made for our guests to use the Spa and Beauty Treatment facility "Indulgence" operated by Royal Westmoreland which is just a four minute walk away. On Mullins beach there are chaises and umbrellas for rent and a variety of water sports. Mullins Beach Bar & Restaurant is an ideal spot for lunch, dinner or maybe a sunset cocktail.

We spent four days here after a week of sailing. Lovely, large room and big bathroom, perfect after the sailboat. Great pool area and we walked to beaches and restaurants. Owners are on site and lovely breakfast is included.

We booked to stay 3 nights, based on the glowing reviews posted on this site- we were not disappointed; hospitality is warm, everywhere is impeccably clean and well appointed, and, the gardens are well tended. My breakfast vote goes to the herb omelette, and Trevor's rum sour is a great alternative to rum punch! We particularly enjoyed spending time in the peaceful garden, watching the wildlife, which included monkeys and hummingbirds.

I cannot praise the owners of Bayfield House, Trevor and Pam, highly enough, from the moment we arrived when we were warmly welcomed and offered a delicious and revitalising Rum Punch after our long flights from Edinburgh. Their hospitality, along with Maria their daughter, was first class. Our room was light and airy, the bed very comfortable and everywhere was spotless. Having a fridge in the room was a great boon. We were only a short walk away from Mullins beach and the quieter Gibbes Beach and some wonderful restaurants and bars. Maria especially gave us some fantastic insider knowledge and tips. Do take her advice, you won’t go wrong. Can’t wait to go back.

This was our 3rd return trip to stay at Bayfield & we were not disappointed. The rooms are spotless & the beds & bedding first class. The breakfasts are great & I can highly recommend Trevor's omlette ...... the cheese & onion is the best ever!! Trevor, Pam & Maria are always really helpful, whether it is to book a trip, hire car or a table for dinner. They always make our stay fab. We definitely would not stay anywhere else!
