We stayed only 3 nights in an overwater bungalow....and loved every minute! From the crystal clear waters to the staff and location....a fabulous 3 days we wish could have been longer! Although wifi is limited to the bar and reception, we didn't miss it....as for activities....snorkeling at the aquarium and the drift snorkel were the best we've seen in all...

KIA ORA Resort We booked a low season over water bungalow as a part of a four stop Tahitian visit. My first impressions of KIA ORA were a little disappointing in that there were signs of wear and tear that grated on me but in fairness these “faults” were completely invisible to my wife. Once in the room any criticism...

The overwater bungalows are transporting. Your private lounge facing the lagoon and the sunrise. Snorkel from your own landing, right onto the underwater life. This is the quintessential Polynesian experience, with music and dancers on Wed. and Sun. nights. Food is good, and the helpful staff will arrange dining at other local restaurants. There is nothing not to love about...

I suppose I just love French Polynesia. The Kia Ora Resort is certainly one of my favorites. This is one that when you see amazing photos of the resort and water they will be true. The resort, the area and the people are outstanding. Back to the people, to be exact, the team members literally go out of their way...

This place is nice, oceanfront and has a family feel to it. Nice appointed rooms on the beach as well as pool villas, which is what we stayed in. It was like a private house with a plunge pool and outside sitting area. Also had an outdoor bathtub. One restaurant and a couple of bars it was very cozy and...

Rangiroa is as gorgeous as any island I've seen in the Maldives, and the overwater bungalow at Kia Ora is perfection! We were greeted at the airport by the hotel shuttle driver with a fresh flower lei, and from there we were treated with warmth and aloha. Prior to arrival I was debating about whether or not to book the...

Rangiroa is a paradise island located about an hour from Tahiti. It is a flat narrow ribbon thick with palm trees surrounded by the crystal blue pacific. The lagoon, which I believe is the largest atoll lagoon in the world, is calm and idyllic for swimming and boating. Kia Ora is located on the lagoon surrounded by row after row...

Rangiroa is a low-lying atoll of palm-covered coral encircling an aquamarine lagoon. To use the word lagoon to describe Rangiroa is itself a misnomer. Rangiroa's lagoon measures an extraordinary fifty miles long and twenty miles wide. About two thousand residents live simple lives, clustered around two passes between the lagoon and the Pacific Ocean. Day 1: Kia Ora Overwater Bungalows...

Stayed here over the holidays. Absolutely wonderful. So much more personal an experience than in bora bora a few days before. A few less facilities than bigger resorts but everyone was so friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent and the sunsets stunning. Not a lot to do on the island but enjoy the spectacular water views, enjoy the Dolphins...
