The man made dunes are beautiful.Kids had a great time climbing the Dunes and rolling over. The huts were well designed with modern facilities. Food was good. Its good for a short stay as their is nothing much to do.

It's truly an oasis in the middle of nowhere. It's 90 kms from Jodhpur towards Nagaur. The roads are wide, largely empty. More so, because our drive began from the edge of Jodhpur, Welocomgroup property on mandore road. Left turn to khimsar village takes you to an amazing, though small fort. Both the Fort and Khimsar Dunes village are ITC...

This has been one of the best stay of my life. They have around 20 rooms only, all the rooms are well equipped and once you step out of the room the views are breathtaking. Oasis in the middle. you can climb up the dunes and do some activities there also. We went there in a group and it was...

it seems that all sand here is brought in but nevertheless the place is beautiful and relaxing. very pleasant staff and amenities. good food. camel ride was nothing special. the only annoying thing we found was all the tourists staying at the place at the time talking loud and shouting. that destroys the atmosphere a bit but this is not...

Really nice first impression when arriving with collection of cars & bikes from the 40'-60', nice garden and pool within the old fort walls, and friendly staff ... but The rooms are darks and old fashioned. The courtyard is extremely noisy echoing every noise, and what an idea to give door keys with a bell! The restaurant has a nice atmosphere...

Atleast once you should visit this place in India. Luxurious huts in a village created with all modern amneties. A pond with ducks is fun to watch at. Spacious rooms varying with different interiors. Veranda provided outside each Hut is fun to sit with. Some has bathrooms open to air. All day you can spend climbing up and down the...

While I am sure that the accommodation is lovely, we only went there to view the dunes and have tea. The dunes are fake; the sand has been put there and raked. Having previously stayed elsewhere in real desert, I found this very disappointing indeed

At the fag-end of a weeklong roadtrip that saw us cover almost 1500 kms, the Khimsar Dunes were just the balm to put our feet up and soak it all in. It really is a mini-desert. The 'huts' are quite palatial and the open bathrooms are delightful. There's a little 'oasis' in the middle of it all. We walked up...
