This is a beautiful hotel, with lovely rooms and a beautiful pool area. However, what you can’t see on the website is how close the hotel is to the main road and high speed train line. As a result, when you want to relax by the pool, the smell of diesel is off-putting and 125mph trains are noisy. You can also hear the both the road and trains from the rooms. It’s a really shame, because otherwise, it’s a beautiful venue.
Illaria and her team are the most professional and obliging people to deal with. We got married at this Masseria. It was amazing! The pool is fantastic. It's so clean and the attention to detail is second to none
This is a glitzy and glamorous four-star Masseria with a spectacular pool and views. It's a popular wedding venue with events on (I would guess) most weekends in the season. We stayed for three nights recently and there was a wedding on the Saturday we arrived. We didn't find it too disturbing, the main downside was that we couldn't get parked in the main car park and had to go around the back of the property to the staff car park where there was plenty of room, It wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The wedding was quite noisy downstairs but we couldn't hear it from our room and it didn't seem to go on very late. And it was great for people-watching -- wonderful outfits! Our room was big and comfortable with a large balcony/terrace and partial sea view. Breakfasts were good and plentiful, and we ate at the hotel one evening where the food was good to very good -- a set menu for around 30 euros a head. Staff were OK to very helpful but a little impersonal. This is a formal kind of place -- swimsuits and bare feet are not acceptable in the main part of the hotel, guests have to wear a cover-up of some kind, - not a problem as far as we were concerned. We also asked for, and received, a late check-out without any problems. The nearby seaside town of Specchiola has lots of cheap seafood cafes and restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias but only small beaches. Swimming was dangerous when we were there.…
This is where dreams come true. We brought 100 people here for our wedding and everything was done to perfection! I cannot thank Illaria and her team enough It's a pity about the male receptionist being really rude (don't know his name but he has curly hair).
