Returned from the TPG on Wednesday and before I landed back in the UK I wished I was back there. My 2nd visit to this amazing place ( my first about 2 years ago) this place just gets better and better. I felt totally relaxed due to the tranquil surroundings and the hospitality of James who was just an amazing host. This is such a retreat for me where I could chill, read and do nothing or just a 5 min drive into town to find some wonderful restaurants, historic buildings etc or just a trip to the beach. Mainly it’s TPG that is the biggest attraction for me - a pure gem - I cant wait to return

Cannot express how much I love The Proud Garden,if you want to recharge your mind and body,look no further. Peaceful & chilled out,but only 2 miles to the town,we had a wonderful week returning for our 3rd visit,We celebrated 2 special birthdays during our week ,our group took over the 4 rooms and having the exclusive hire really makes it special for us with our friends. We love having days by the pool and sun downers on the roof terrace,27 degrees of clear blue skies for the very end of September too! weather was perfect,James & Pea are the purrfect hosts ;-) just book it and see for yourselves..

The clue is in the name. A magical garden with a very proud owner/host, James. The love James has for this villa and his guests is reflected in everything - the cleanliness, the welcome and attention to every detail to make your stay enjoyable leaves you wanting more (and to return as quickly as humanly possible). James built the ace from scratch and didn't he do a great.job. The rooms are large and perfectly decorated to ensure you feel relaxed from the second you walk in. Each room has a walk in shower, hairdryers, Aircon, kitchen and a private outdoor area but there are so many communal areas (from the chilled poolside to the rooftop terrace sprinkled with fairly lights) it never feels crowded. Sitting by the outdoor fireplace listening to tunes or watching the sunset from the rooftop made this experience a memorable one. James has a lovely aura for when you need some downtime from the busyness of life and people, as does the resident cat, Pea, who sits on the sideline making it feel like home. Well located near Brindisi airport (James left excellent instructions to find our way to the villa) and close to lovely villages such as Ostuni, it's a great place for a quick getaway. Supermarkets are close and James is a great chef if you need a little something to wash down the prosecco.…

After a very hetic summer I decided to return to The Proud Garden just to sit by the pool soak in the sunshine and chill out in the beautiful surroundings. My room, as last time was so impressive and elegant. A couple of trips into town as recommended by James to experience the taste of Italian food and was not disappointed. Also a little paddle in the sea was so perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay here....James ensures everything is to your liking and the most perfect host.....no doubt I'll be back in the spring once again
