I have been lucky enough to have been on many different game viewing trips through out Africa in my life visiting the Chobe Princess and Ichingo River lodge is far and away the most breathtaking of them all. The Princess is moored most of the time at Elephant bay and gives a unique opportunity to see nature close up.Hippos and...

A lovely experience. So relaxing and enjoyable. It was extremely hot, but there was aircon in all the rooms and we were made very comfortable. We experienced great river safari's, met helpful, kind staff, ate good food, met interesting guests from around the world and enjoyed clean, modern facilities. I'd definitely do it again.

Great birding, great fishing, excellent accommodation, all meals and drinks (except spirits) included. Thank you to Kennedy for looking after us so well and to Robert for the excellent birding experience both from the boat and during our walk around the island.

Fantastic trip as usual with friends, with world class flyfishing, great waters, fantastic birdlife and the biggest herd of elephant I have ever seen after living 50 years in Africa. Rare Sable antelope and the even rarer Shelly's sunbird suspected to have been seen on the trip.

If you want to mesmerized then visit this lovely location and venue. Staff and entire ambience are out of this world. The setting, the wildlife and the accommodation are of the best that I have experienced in Africa. Yes, it may get a little cramped with only 4 cabins, but there is plenty of room to NOT feel claustrophobic and...

We ended a 2 week african adventure through a few countries in Namibia at the Ichingo River Lodge and Chobe Princess House boat. The lodge is situated on the banks of a river on a small island across from Chobe, Botswana. The lodge is known for its tiger fishing, but we were most interested in game viewing. Both did not...

Excellent. Tented cabin concept. Tents are very large with nice deck, huge bathroom and...air conditioning which was very welcome as it was quite hot. Service is exceptional and you are provided a personal guide with whom you can do anything on offer including game drives by boat and fishing. They also offer cultural tours of the local village and island hikes....

Spent four nights of a 13 day African tour on the Zambezi Queen, which was the highlight of our trip. A floating houseboat on the Chobe River brings you up close to the game. During the dry season, the game seek the waters of the river making viewing easy and exciting; hippos, swimming elephants, Cap Buffalo, and a variety of...

Lovely end to an exciting Holiday . Good way to relax with optional activities for those who wish to indulge . Maybe need to have a paintbrush and easel handy.Seeing the wildlife from the water is different to seeing it on land - especially the elephants swimming.
