As a 5 stars hotel traveler chose this hotel as the Hotel looked nice with a nice pool and facilities! Had to change rooms for an extra $80,000 to the new rooms as the old ones are really bad, hot and noise old air-com. Had some friends visiting from medellin and they couldn't event stay by the pool as were...

It is a shame for us to hear that you had a bad experience in our hotel. The priority for us is to offer our customers the best experience we can, and as part of that we had to develop strict policies in terms of usage of the common areas of the hotel. Considering the size of the swimming pool...

The staff were very kind, doing its best to make our holidays great. The location between the main bay and the beaches is very convenient. Close but far enough to avoid, when needed, the wilderness that goes around Taganga. Taganga could be crowded and noisy, but very colorful, funny and offer a chance to involve yourself with the locals, their...

This hotel has a great location in terms of being a short walk to the beach and having a great view of the bay. The staff (particularly Rafael) were super nice and professional, as well. That's where the positives end. The downside was that my bed was FILTHY. I don't need much from a hotel, but clean sheets is on...

Thanks a lot for taking the time to share your experience with other travellers. It is a shame to hear that you had a bad experience in our hotel. We, at Hotel Bahia Taganga, have strict procedures that all the maids have to follow in terms of cleanliness of the rooms and sheets and towels replacement. I´ll go through these...

The hotel has an old part and a newer extension. Do NOT take a room in the older part, they are shabby, run down and totally overpriced. Our room was an old terrace hastily converted into a room with run-down windows that do not close. The bathroom floor was uneven and when showering the water would flood the room and...

First of all, please accept our most sincere apologies for your bad experience in our hotel. Just before the season we refurbished all the toilets in the first and second floor, and as you were the first customer to use it you discover the huge mistake the contractor made when finishing the toilet floor in the room you stayed in...

By Taganga standards this hotel looks very good at first sight. But the experience of staying there certainly doesn't live up to the good first impression: at the bottom of the stairs that lead to the hotel is a garbage dump. Granted the pick up happens frequently, possibly daily, but the smell is very noticeable on the way up to...

Dear Marc, It´s a shame to hear that your experience in our hotel wasn't up to the standards you were expecting. We work hard to exceed our clients expectations and will continue working to do that. Unfortunately some of the problems you mentioned are out of our hands, but we will continue engaging with other business owners to stop them...

if you choose to come to Taganga this is one of the better choices (judging based on whats available). The village itself is a mix of ethnic fisherman vibe with lots of busy local restaurants, street vendors and beach cafes. It is very ran down, with occasional garbage smell and excruciating loud music during nights. The hotel is pretty with...

Thanks a lot for your comments. We really appreciate you taking some time to share your experience in our hotel and in Taganga in general. Unfortunately there are some factors that are outside of our control, but we will continue to engage with the local authorities to try to solve or improve the current conditions. Traveling alone, Taganga seemed a bit sketchy to me down by the bay (especially with all the dudes selling drugs and walking around aimlessly at night) but this hotel up on the cliffs makes up for any bad vibes with its clean rooms, friendly service and incredible terraces. Literally can't be anywhere better to stay in Taganga, and it's pretty...

We have visited this great and idyllic fishermen village in January 15' and have stayed in this lovely family run place for a couple of nights. The breakfast is fantastic, stuff and managers are super friendly and so welcoming. If you want to do any outdoor activities, they are the best organizers. Overall we found this a perfect spot to...
