It is excellent resort to stay in Badami. Rooms are very spacious. They have got nice cottages also. Although I think food quality could be increased. Cottages are having nice Veranda in front where you can spend some time.
This is most likely the best accommodation in Badami in terms of location and spaciousness. The resort is situated slightly away from the busy and congested city centre.
The property has different types of rooms including cottages. Parking space is available.

a. take an auto (share or own) from outside the resort and go to the bus stand. Share auto charges Rs. 10 per person. If you are the type qho seeks a life away from the normal try this. It is fun :) Having your your own auto, is another option.
from the bus stand, take an auto to go the caves. You will find plenty just opposite to the bus stand. I paid Rs. 40 to go to the caves.
b. you can ask the resort management, Mr. Masur or Mr. Narayan to arrange a cab for you. they will tell you the prices.
As for restaurants, the resort serves vegetarian food for lunch and dinner which I found to be delicious as they serve the local specialities. They serve thali for lunch and buffet for dinner. There is a restaurant in Clarks Inn which is on the way to the Caves. I have not tried this though. Another option is Udipi restaurant Banashree which is located diagonal to the bus stand which erves veg food.
Hope this information helps.
