Had a lovely 2 night stay, room was clean, food was really nice and big portions for the price. The onsite pub is clean cheap and has good entertainment, very friendly staff and good service in all areas. Only negative is the beds are abit hard and uncomfortable and the curtains are thin and let alot of light in but... More

Would NOT recommend to anyone. I booked and paid for a room and meal through wowcher 3 months in advance but I was sent a message to my house phone 2 hours before we were due to check in to say they had double booked and they were cancelling us. As we were already there we had no option but... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on a Groupon voucher - we turned up at 3pm. Check in was fine and as the room wasn't quite ready, Jacqui offered us a complimentary drink which was unexpected but a pleasant surprise. After about 30 minutes our room was ready, it was lovely and after reading some of the other reviews, we were... More

Friendly welcome eventually, rooms are spacious and clean but cold and damp feeling, we had to request toilet roll within hours of being there as they'd left no spare, room was so cold that you were unable to dry towels, so as instructed by notice in bathroom left used towels in bath and that's where they still were when we... On arrival we was greeted by very friendly staff. We brought the wowcher deel 2 nights including evening meal and breakfast for £60 for 2 people and was amazed by the value for money. The evening meals where to die for especially the pate and black forest gateau. Rooms lovely and clean however duvet did have some undisolved washing powder... More

On arriving on Saturday night I was instantly approached by a drunk from Leeds who was staying at the Inn & thew insults at me, this was quickly sorted out by the owner who called the police & they must have carted him away. The owner came over & apologized to us which was appreciated. We were shown to our... More

Saw a Wowcher online and having read all the negative reviews, decided to go ahead and buy it with some trepidation. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and were given lots of useful local information. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable with the usual amenities, TV, tea and coffee making facilities etc. The bathroom needed updating but apart... More

Where to start? No one at reception on arrival, had to phone the hotel to get someone to open ip, this turned out to be the barman, we asked about the menu for the night and were advised to eat elsewhere as the chef wasn't in and he was the only person on that night. The room, hmm, well it... More

We booked a stay at this ‘nightmare’ of place back in June and today, 28th August, I phoned the hotel to inform them that we would be arriving after 8pm tomorrow evening just to make them aware, however the receptionist informed me she did not have a reservation for me. I gave her my details and voucher code and she... More
