I booked 4D3N package,it costs me about RM1500. Form the picture, the room seems very new. But the fact is very old. The diving equipment is very old too. A lot of equipment are broken. And because April is busy season, most of time we need to wait boat and equipment for a long time. You'd better a experienced diver, or you...

I don'T even know where to start, so I will start from the beginning. I chose to dive with them because all the other places in Mabul were full and did not have diving permits for Sipadan. So I took a 2 days of diving, one Sipadan day and one mabul/kapalai day. 1: I was asked to arrive at the...

I signed up for a 4D3N snorkeling package. Staff extremely friendly and helpful from signing up, through to staff at hotel and scuba staff. Accommodation basic with aircon from 6pm to 6am. Food is decent, limited variety but overall, fine. Located just outside the village so you can buy your odd supplies, but make sure you bring sun cream from...

Our day started early, running around frantically looking for a dive company to dive with and one that had Sipadan permits on (very) short notice due to the late arrival the day before. Billabong came to our rescue with 5/6 of their permits available for 2 days later alarm bells started ringing, "why do they have so many permits? What's...

When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist and her team who provided us with a drink and a cold towel for refreshment! We were checked...

We read most of the bad reviews for Billabong and had a very different experience than many. We found the divemasters to be excellent, safe, and great at pointing out wildlife. We had no issues with any of the gear, with the exception of a leaking mask, but that's typical. The food at the resort was great, and the rooms...

This is my 3rd time visiting Mabul for diving. Stayed at 3 different place all together. For backpacking standard I would stay it's the good as it has a steady electricity voltage for the frame that they promised. Mind you, having electricity during the afternoon break is a plus point. Toilet were slimy but what I guess it's acceptable as...

I came to Billabong for 5 days by myself to dive at Sipadan. The resort was pretty quiet when I first got there, but the staff made me feel right at home. I hung out and ate and drank with them. They also always included me when playing volleyball with the locals after a day of diving. They were always...
