we have just spent three nights here as part of a large group,on arrival as we had read the reviews we were not expecting posh so we were not disappointed, the bedrooms desperately need updating,as the walls are dirty and very old fashioned,no hot water some days,,no curtains just nets, they were in a pile at the bottom of my wardrobe???
We were full board the menu was boring but adequate,I wouldn't like to think that I was spending a fortnight here but the beds were clean and we were out all day so in the end we just laughed and got on with it,the lady owner was grumpy at first but by the end of our stay had mellowed considerably and indeed was quite pleasant,we compared rooms at meal times and most of us found it funny and indeed enjoyed our stay,I think with a full refit it could rise again let's hope so ,positives are clean beds, very close to the station ,friendly when you get to know them

Probably the worst hotel I've ever been. Still I do not understand how come this hotel hold 3 stars. Dirty, stubborn peole, old hotel.
The worst you can expect.
