1st impression not good, piles of bed linen at front door, not good for new guests, African penthuse room was ok but needed attention, never saw the owners at all, had to make own breakfast which was fine but was not told and had to work out how to use the appliances.

What a lovely place... It is really a 'home' with a cosy living room and in the evenings, there is a soft music playing in the background, dimmed light and lovely aperitives which you can serve yourself! There is a communal dining table where you can have long breakfasts and warm conversations with others or with the friendly owners... Location...

Brugmann Garden is a very lovely B&B in Brussels. Run and owned by two friendly guys you feel quite welcomed. Every detail is fantastic: The nice decor, the huge breakfast table, the well equipped rooms. Our double room was spacious and comfortable. It is located between the two bustling neighbourhoods of Saint-Gilles and Ixelles. If you are only interested in...

We had an excellent stay at Brugmann Garden. Our room for four (African Suite) was ver spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Javier and Pierre are helpful hosts. The location is not near attractions but the tram is right outside the door. Great value for good accommodations in Brussels!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. The owners Javi and Pierre are professional yet friendly hosts, you really do feel you are their guests, they did everything to ensure we were comfortable, but only when asked and never imposed. Lovely breakfast, cheese, fresh croissants, bacon, boiled eggs , crusty bread and gorgeous preserves fresh coffee and orange juice in lovely surroundings....

This place offers the perfect balance between high style/standard and feeling home. We stayed in the b&b (couple + child 3 yo) in October 2012 - we really appreciated the room - big and stylish (Horta room with amazing bathroom) and the two hosts Javier and Pierre - very friendly but also professional. The breakfast is rich and you feel...

I booked a room at this B&B as I had read the reviews of other guests and decided to take a chance with it. It was a great surprise to arrive and find that Javier was there waiting for us to explain everything about the breakfast, etc. Both Javier and Pierre have been very kind during our stay, and have...

We only stayed for one night but we were impressed by the place, lovely dining cum living room. It´s only about 25 mins to the centre and a tram station just opposite. The only thing was that we had the caravan room because the other rooms were already booked. I wouldn´t recommend this room if one plans to stay a...

When people ask us how Brussels was, we'll probably spend half the time raving about Brugmann Garden. The room was well-designed and luxurious. The breakfast was great, complete with espresso, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a spread of homemade jams. We felt at home, and Javier was kind enough to help us plan our outings. The tram is outside the...

“Rooms that face the back are quieter, and the place we had slept 4 comfortably.”

“Our room faced the street--it was somewhat noisy between about 6a and 11p (not a dealbreaker but more quiet would've been great). Select a room overlooking the gorgeous garden, if possible!”

“Ask for a room at the back of the house if you're not good with street noise. The house is on a very busy street.”

“The Horta room seems to be the best. It is on the garden side so you don't get the traffic (including tram) noise and it has a separate bathroom. The Horta room is on the street side and the shower, hand basin and toilet are within the room.”
