Beautiful little gem to get away from it all! You are surrounded in nature, listening to the water and totally relaxed! Excellent Michelin rated restaurant coupled with impeccable services, what more can you ask!

We are going to this hotel for over 10 years and it is always a pleasure. The staff is very helpful even if you have small problems with the room they will deal with it in no time. The hotel itself is very romantic next to a river with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and... More

We stayed at some lovely places on our recent trip through the Loire Valley and down to Bordeaux, including a number of Relais & Chateaux properties, but this was our favourite of the trip. The room was spacious, with a fabulous covered balcony that had a full-size wood dining table and wicker chairs and overlooked the river. The outdoor dining... More

We - and our dogs - loved this hotel. Great location, lovely grounds, helpful & friendly staff. Excellent Michelin 1-star restaurant (€75 for three courses) with a very good selection of reasonably priced wine. Breakfast is lovely too - huge. Tennis court and swimming pool. It's comfortable and peaceful but not "luxurious" thankfully.

We arrived late to the hotel on the first stop of our month long trip to France. The hotel has a truly peaceful and beautiful setting. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Our room was large and looked out on a stream, with a balcony and patio furniture on which to relax. The location was not difficult to find... More

For my birthday this year, I was looking for somewhere truly exceptional, peaceful and charming. This hotel was just that. It's so stylish in a quintessentially French way. The hotel and garden are gorgeous. The rooms are so comfortable - I slept so well to the sound of the mill and river outside. I suppose just two bits of feedback... More

I simply adore the place, an old mill with so much charm and character. It is lovely, very beautifully and tastefully decorated. The staff is very professional and really aiming at making people very happy, with sincerity. It is rare to find this quality of service nowadays. The food is fantastic and generous and original. Our room is cosy and... More

Loved the hotel, everything I expected and more. The food and service were great, brilliant staff, the grounds are fabulous and the pool area lovely. Only downside, if you want to eat out is that it is a taxi ride or a drive of 15-20 mins or so to find anything else.

What an amazing place. I highly recommend you stop and stay and dine at Le Moulin du Roc. The rooms are incredibly beautiful and wonderfully decorated. The grounds are well manicured and amazingly charming as the setting is historic with a river running through, water wheels, a bridge to walk over to get to the pool or tennis court etc.... More
