Easy to get to, ample parking and lovely surrounds, this hotel was terrific value. Despite the rooms being very traditional (exposed beams etc) they were nevertheless very clean and made for a very comfortable yet beautiful atmosphere. The shower was exceptional in terms of hot water and pressure, as well as space, cleanliness and products provided. Both beds in our...

Visited again - just a one night stay with a colleague, as we were working in Brierly Hill the following day. I was delighted to find service, rooms and food still all superb. This really is an exceptional hotel.

I would not recommend staying here. The main entrance was very smelly. My room was falling to pieces, full of cobwebs, holes in the bedding, very tired towels and curtains hanging off the rails. The room was very cold despite radiator on full because of the horrific draft through the window. Wires scattered all over the place, chipped and marked...

Dear Brevis79, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share your disappointment with the standards of the bedroom you experienced during your recent stay at the Dunsley Hall Hotel. I was most concerned to hear your comments and have carried out a full investigation in to the areas you raised. There can not be any excuse for the...

Visited with my husband on Christmas Eve. Fantastic afternoon tea, in beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the afternoon tea was delicious- especially the warm fresh scones. Perfect for a treat!

Our family lunch on Boxing Day was really great and well priced. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant nicely presented for the festivities. The whole experience was very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Having arrived four hours later than planned due to motorway closure, it was late. However the front desk seemed to know instinctively who I was, which was a nice touch, and access to my room was very quick and efficient. There are only 11 rooms, so no long corridors of anonymous doors, each room was uniquely named instead of numbered....

Just had a marvelous Christmas meal at Dunsley Hall. Food and quantity excellent and the staff could not have been more attentive, friendly or helpful. This is a venue to be highly recommended. Best of all reasonably priced.

Went to Dunsley with 5 friends for evening meal. The food was delicious, I had smoked salmon starter followed by beef which was so good, Christmas pudding to finish. The service was good considering the hotel was busy.

A glorious old country hotel. Spread out so not perfect if mobility is a problem. Poor phone reception and a prehistoric WiFi set up leaves you a little tied if business communication is required. My room was comfortable, clean and well stocked. The TV is adequate if dated and as previously mentioned, no wifi. I felt the restaurant was too...
