I very much enjoyed lunch with a friend at this friendly pub. The smiling and efficient welcome continued with smiling and efficient service throughout. The menu offered an interesting choice at reasonable prices. We both opted for dishes from the set menu, staggeringly good value at £14.95 for two courses, £17.95 for three. Everything we chose was delicious, well presented,...

We had a special family lunch on Sunday 10 May and everything was perfect. The food was well cooked, the service efficient and staff pleasant and the dining room with the large chandelier and well was just a bit different a setting! The other reviews were right. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the meal. Would definitely...

Having not visited this restaurant for a few years - my one regret is why did we leave it so long? The whole experience was first class. The surroundings were lovely, the staff professional and friendly , very attentative, service was perfect - not too quick and not too slow , nothing was too much trouble! The food? It was...

This establishment is a real jewel in picturesque surroundings . Fantastic front of house staff, wonderful food, great rooms, a great selection of beers, a real home away from home. I've been staying here seen the start of the year and find The Angel Inn a great and relaxing alternative to the standard corporate hotel chains

Greeted by some very professional and friendly staff. Soon to our room and at that point was completely hooked on the inn. Gorgeous traditional yet stylish room. Went for dinner the...

My daughter and I stayed overnight at the Angel Inn on route to a golf competition. We arrived late but the staff were friendly and accomodating, we were shown to our room which was located directly above the bar. The room was too noisy to sleep in, I went down to have a chat with the bar manager and he...
