As this place is a bed & breakfast, don't expect hotel amenities or reception services. The rooms are clean and tranquil. There are no frills attached. No TV, which is so refreshing. This was my third stay here. I suggest you plan enough time for the lovely buffet breakfast in the beautiful country house style breakfast room. Fresh flowers and... More

You can't ask for more in a location - on Lake Geneva. The rooms are as basic and can be (and priced reasonably). Breakfast is simple but fine. The bed is a small twin, no TV, and furnishings basic. The most frustrating thing with no TV is the Internet was terrible. Low signals that cut in and out will cause... More

After a long trip.We arrived in Rolle for a meeting earlier than expected and had a few hours to spare. We thought we would stop and request a half day room at Le Courtil as we visit rolle often and are previous guests of Le courtil. We had checked on booking.com availability only 5 minutes earlier and there were 2... More

Simply furnished rooms, unfancy but quality buffet food, great views over the lake, great location. I'd also like to give a mention to the very smiley and warm staff. Don't expect mod cons - no tvs in rooms for example. Reminded me slightly of a kind of religious retreat - that's the vibe.

Clearly overpriced, poor accommodation hotel that in fact only serves as a B&B. The impersonal behaviour and lack of courtesy of receptionist is what really should keep tourists away from Switzerland. I feel ashamed to be Swiss. The building very nicely located on the lake of Geneva shore in Rolle, exerts a wonderful view on a Sequoia tree and the... More

I have stayed in this Bed & Breakfast several times. It is well located, has parking spaces, pleasant staff and a good breakfast. The rooms are clean. The negative points are that they are very careful the amenities (one tiny bar of soap per that is only replaced when you finish it) and the sound-proofing is terrible (you can hear... More

I stayed here mid week for 2 nights on business. The room price for me was ridiculous in relation to what you got. The made me pay full amount which is strange and has never happened before in Europe. The reception area and general areas were simple, traditional and cute. The view in front of hotel of lake is lovely.... More

After a short walk along the shore of Lake Geneva, you find Le Courtil. The reception might already be closed, but in the confirmation email there is a pin code to enter. I stayed in building no. 1 on the top floor, in carefully decorated room that was pleasantly simple and with an old hardwood floor. I booked a room... More

Great location beside the lake, friendly staff, great healthy and delicious food but not the best accommodation. I stayed at Le Courtil for two nights for a meeting. The rooms are on the 2nd floor with no lift which is fine is you don't mind carrying a heavy suitcase up 2 flights of stairs. The actual room I could only... More

we used this as a venue for a company meeting and stayed at the hotel as well. The rooms were nicely set up and above all quiet. without outwardly being a modern place, wi-fi worked well and breakfast and buffet lunch were excellent. Waking up to the view over the lake though is always going to be a winner.
