Wonderful location and traditional hotel we like to have lunch here once each skiing holiday. Beautiful rooms and good food but expensive. Service good. Must visit if you have £s. Ski in out and quite happy with ski gear in restaurant

We have booked in this hotel for a skiing week end. We have been impressed about the historical location and for the outsider landscape but when you are ready at the end of the day to enjoy the dinner you will be shocked about the bad quality of the food. It is really a shame.

Just spent a few days in the hotel. The staff were attentive and the quality of breakfast and dinners was fine. Please note the set dinner menu gives only a choice of a meat or fish dish. The wine list majors on Swiss, French and Italian wine; no wines available from South America or English speaking countries. The restaurant staff...

Since I wrote my last review for this hotel in 2013, very little has changed in the sense that the rooms are extremely comfortable and clean, the service is exemplary and the food is some of the best considering that it is at the top of a mountain. It has to have a place in the top 10 best hotels...

We are just coming to the end of another week skiing in the Wengen/Grindelwald/First area. Having been introduced to this hotel in 2000 by friends, my wife and I have been coming back here virtually every year....and intend to come back again in future years. People ask us why we don't go to other hotels/resorts, but once you've stayed in...

It is always dangerous to return to a place you loved 30 years ago, but this is an exception. This very old hotel is like going back to another century. The rooms are small but very attractive, with toile fabric on the walls and spectacular views. There are extensive walking trails. 30 years ago we did hard ones, but there...

Despite spending over 200 CHF inside the hotel for breakfast coffee and cake and later for drinks outside, my wife was rudely kicked out for trying to nurse our 2 month old baby in a non-populated area of the hotel on Dec 27, 2015. Wow. Not what one should expect anywhere! Go without small children & infants as it seems...

We had reserved a room for one night while hiking in the area. The hotel is expensive but we were going to splurge for my birthday. We booked the least expensive room for $380 per night including breakfast and dinner for two. I specifically asked and was assured that our room had a view of the Eiger. The hotel is...

Hotel Bellevue may not be for everyone, but it sure was for us. Our second visit. It is a snapshot back in time to how the upper crust lived in the early 1900s, but yet very comfortable. The staff are excellent at making you feel very special. The dinner and breakfast are included, and are first rate. Great chef. We...

A very special place to stay in an amazing location. Historic and grand and worth the splurge. Steps away from the train the Jungfraujoch so you can be among the first up the mountain. Excellent staff and the food is definitely ambitious considering where you are.
