My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The Annex is so peaceful and quiet, especially at night, that some good sleep is assured. And the breakfast has such a choice, is well prepared and presented that it sets you up for the day. Plus there are some lovely walks right from the doorstep. Perfect. Many thanks to Paula and her team for making our stay so relaxing.

Visited as part of a wedding party, we took the annex room as we had a dog with us. The room was very comfortable with a separate bedroom & living area plus a lovely outside deck with furniture, a telescope & fantastic views down the dale (also company from sheep & chickens!). The owners could not have been more friendly & helpful with offers of advice & generally being around without being intrusive, there is a communal lounge area with books & magazines where a fantastic Yorkshire breakfast is served each morning. The farm is only 2 miles outside Skipton & there are numerous pubs & dining options within a short drive, we would definitely love to return in the future!

I bought my ma for a break to Yorkshire after a very trying time and what a fantastic B&B this is. My ma liked all the little touches and the homely feel, she especially liked the home baked small cakes that were in our room. The view from our room was too die for and my ma was very impressed with her whole experience. The cooked breakfast in the morning has a good variety to choose from and it was all beautifully cooked. I would definitely recommend, the staff and owners are friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Throstlenest Farm. We stayed for 3 nights in the woodside lodge and it was absolutely perfect for our family of four- 2 adults and 2 children. The lodge is beautiful & cosy with a vaulted ceiling that gives a feeling of space. The furniture is comfortable & the kitchen well equipped. The views are amazing and the children loved the fact that sheep were peering in on us in the hot tub. Access to a private hot tub on a lovely decked area made a weekend with some miserable rainy weather, good fun. It turns out that soaking in the hot bubbles in cold weather is a great end to a day that included a look around the shops in Skipton & a walk around Skipton castle woods. The location of Throstlenest Farm is amazing, it feels so remote & tranquil but you’re minutes by car away from several towns and Skipton is less than a 10 min drive away. We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch at the Swan Inn in Carleton just 5 mins away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the lodge. Communicating with the owners was easy and Paula was always happy to help. We’d highly recommend the lodge to anyone and hope to return next year.
