If you're looking for seclusion this place is for you, off the beaten track hidden behind a castle. We went in February so the castle wasn't open and all was quiet (I think it would be a lot busier in the summer months) We stayed in Pines 18, a smaller 2 bedroomed lodge that was one of the cheaper options....

Lovely little lodge perfect for all 3 of us, the heating was on when we arrived so it was lovely and warm. Very clean with everything we needed. Great to be able park outside the lodge, I think every lodge needs to have WiFi. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Beautiful location -...

Very simply a very nice place to stay and use for a base to see the local sights. The lodge was clean and it had everything required to make my stay a pleasure. There is only one thing to be aware off, the wifi signal is not very good. I would like to say though because of this I managed...

We stayed in the lodge Amberwood 16 and we were very pleased with the presentation and decor of the lodge. It was great to have a bath that doubled as a hot tub as it was cold outside when we visited! The facilities such as the pool and sauna were a pleasure to use. Everything was clean and tidy upon...

We have just returned from a New Year Break .It was a great time. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Although it is not a very big site the facilities are enough to enjoy. The pool was not huge the photo is a little out of proportion. The staff were brilliant. New year party very well organised . Fireworks...

What a fantastic place. We stayed in amberwood 39 as we have a puppy. It was lovely, clean, everything we needed and big enough for us all. Friends lodges down the hill were fabulous and very spacious, ( 36 and Bay tree 35 was epic ) The bar had everything we needed, including a little shop selling the essentials. Kids...

Well what can I say, we wanted a complete rest in a quiet location. We certainly got it. What beautiful lodges. Clean and well appointed. The beds were made up on arrival with crisp white bedding. Fluffy white towels aplenty. Tea towels and all. We were worried that this late in the year the lodge may not be warm enough....

We stayed here on a 3 night break at the being of December in beeches 6. This cabin had twin room, double room, decent bathroom, decent sized well provisioned kitchen and lounge area. The decor was modern and to a high standard, it was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything needed to cook with. The bedroom was comfy, the...
