I absolutely loved the clean, natural bandas. They are rustic, and the open-air screen windows bring the expansive savanna right to your room. Running hot water, and food that is beyond elegant. I found every meal I had there--from the breakfast, sandwiches at lunch or dinner, to have a touch of the exotic and is far more classy than many... More

We had a more than lovely welcome by Patrick and his lovely wife Lynn. They are a unique -non standard-very friendly and knowledgeable couple. Patrick is also especially fond of kids visiting his place. Also the 80 years old father of Patrick- a retired South African ranger- lives there. His father is happy to take the kids out early morning's... More

Stopped for a drink - not really what the place is set up for - but were invited in anyway to the pleasant terrace. Plans underway for a great development and clearly the best mid-range option at the moment for Kidepo.

I visited Nga moru Wilderness Camp last week while in a trip in Uganda. I visit Uganda at least twice a year and I really love this country and people. However this is the first time I visit this lodge. So this lodge is decent and the food pretty good while the price is ok. Midrange comparing to the high... More

Our policy is that Drivers/Guides stay for free if they eat and sleep with the Camp staff. If they wish to stay and eat at the lodge with their clients they are required to pay the same as any other guest, albeit at a discounted rate. This is not a racist issue it as a monetary issue, and quite frankly... More

This is a great place to stay. Patrick and Lynn are super friendly, and have a great knowledge of the area, and stories to tell. Their place is tastefully constructed and offers a luxury in the bush, which is greatly appreciated after the long drive north. If you are going to Kidepo, I highly recommend a stay here!

One of my favorate locations on mother earth. Why? Remote. Friendly staff and owners. Die stoep. Kidepo. Africa. Nature at it's ultimate best.... The resurant prepares the most excellent food! We planned to stay for three nights but could only leave after seven. The place is too awesome! Already planning my next trip to Nga'Moru!!!

This small and simple lodge is perfect for those of us who enjoy driving the long dusty roads to the awesome Kideop Park. This place is all about expectations. If you are flying up and expect aircon and a pool - don't. If you yearn to balance the sublime landscape and explosion of animals at Kidepo with a simple, safe... More

Stayed here for three nights in a huge room. The food was excellent, the staff were helpful and attentive and the lodge has fantastic views over the park. The lodge is situated outside the park so park fees are not payable until you head into Kidepo. The road to the lodge is quite rough so a 4x4 is needed but... More

I have been lucky enough to stay here twice. It takes some work to drive to Kidepo but it is so well worth it. Nga'Moru is a perfect place to quickly access the park, have amazing views and enjoy incredibly good food. The cabins are beautiful, clean and you can usually hear animals at night while laying in bed or... More

Tents and bandas are clean and well-equipped. Staff is on-task and welcoming. Owners are friendly. They are very organized, and can help arrange guides, transport, etc. into the park. For those without the very high-end option, this is a good choice.
