Once the rooms are ready, they will let us check in at about 2.20pm instead of strictly waiting till 3pm. There is a snow slide infront of the hotel and 3 other snow areas to take photos of the mountain ranges. Beautiful.

We stayed here one night and it was nice. The rooms are Japanese style have a nice amount of space. There is on on site Onsen. The hikes around the hotel and the views are beautiful. Worth a stop on the alpine route.

Can I send my luggage from Omachi to here? We are taking Alpine route from staying in Omachi to end up staying here, and don't want to drag luggage on the route.

I'm staying here overnight in a couple weeks (early May), but I'm wondering how I should book the tickets for the transportation along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. I already booked round trip tickets (it's the end of Golden Week, so I wanted to make sure to get in) for the first day we're there, but how should I book tickets to get off the mountain the next day? Will that round trip ticket still work for the final leg of getting off the mountain, as it will be unused the first day? Do I need to book a separate ticket, and if so, can I book a ticket that is just Midagahara back to Tateyama at the standard ticket office to avoid paying for a full-length ticket?
Thanks in advance.
