Stayed at the Hundred this weekend with several friends, Matt & Pia are great hosts going above and beyond. Dinner on the Friday night was brilliant and the waiting staff were lovely. Rooms were clean, nicely decorated and the beds very comfortable, what more could you want? The breakfast on Sunday morning saved us all from a wedding hangover. Would...

We were attracted by the good reviews about the food, but couldn't make it for Sunday lunch. After 15:00 hrs the kitchen is closed on Sundays! So no dinner. After arriving early evening we were referred to two pubs 10 km away for dinner. The pubs however didn't serve food in the evening either, which had already been the case...

Dear Mr Bosbeek. Im trying to give up responding to tripadvisor reviews as my responses are ruled by my heart and not my professional head. But this one is one of those inaccurate and frankly hilarious reviews, which i just feel the need to straighten out a bit. Firstly, you were notified about the problems with the bathroom 5 days...

Party of four on a very quiet Saturday evening. All agreed that the menu and the quality of the food was awful. No dishes available for vegetarians. My gammon dish was amazingly salty and mediocre. Service OK. Oh and must take record for smallest slice of cheese ever served!

Arrived with my partner on Saturday. Nice looking pub restaurant and decent ale. Then the start of our issues. Young lady taking orders not polite and struggling with even a smile! Starters arrived but not really as described on very London style menu. 40 minutes after finishing our starter the young lady told us our main was on the way......

I was looking for a dog friendly hotel to stay for one night, according to TA and their website they accept dogs. Their website says 'Dogs are also allowed in this room but there is an extra charge of £10 for the first night, then £5 per night thereafter to cover additional cleaning required.' I nearly booked on line but...

This is a nice country pub with a great imaginative menu but if you stay the night it can be noisy if you are an early to bed person with the bed rooms above the bar and resturant and no sound proofing also the windows are single glazed and you can hear the locals under your window smoking and talking...

Stayed for one night last night in room 3. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed, I would happily recommend this B&B to anyone. the full English breakfast was plentiful and of a very high quality. Definitely recommended.

You may think it odd to start a review with the quality of the pillows, but they can make or break a decent night's sleep. In the case of The Hundred, I slept like a baby, the bed was comfortable, the room just the right temperature and despite being above the bar area, very quiet. What a lovely place for a...

This hotel is brilliantly situated on the Main Street in Oakham and close to all amenities. The staff were busy when I arrived but attentive and showed me to a small but comfortable single room. Had a great meal here and also a nice cooked breakfast.
