Friendly lodge style accommodation in a picturesque Japanese ski village. Great location but need to book a year in advance. This village hosts an important fire festival on January 15 which is a must see cultural event.More

You can email Nozawa Holidays with queries. That seems a long trip from Osaka. Have you looked at the shink bullet trains? - you should be able to get there sooner if you want to I would think- we left Kyoto about 10am and were at Iiyama in time for the last Nozawa Liner bus to Nozawaonsen which I think was about 4:40pm- and that was going by 3 different trains so we could do a very scenic slower 3 hour train for the middle leg rather than a shink bullet train.
