We stayed at Penke Panke for 12 nights as a large group. Greg, Justin and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Just a short walk to the Sakka Quad Chair lift at Happo-one, close to restaurants and onsens! The staff offer shuttle buses daily to ATM, supermarkets, onsens and echoland for dinner. Included breakfast daily is a good...

Myself and my partner spent a week at penke panke lodge. We had a room which was clean, big enough and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was a little challenging at first when we got there, but it is very quiet and I always had it to myself when I showered and the facilities are lovely, great water...

We returned to Hakuba for the 2016/2017 season and stayed once again at Penke Panke. Once again we could not fault the place. Most exciting was that our room had been renovated, which gave us a little bit more space. Staff were so helpful and friendly, the lodge itself is clean and cosy. And breakfast was tasty. We will be...

The rooms at Penke Panke are basic and many of them share bathroom facilities but the service offered and the fact you have access to the kitchen facilities (and nightly bus trips to the supermarket) mean this is a really family friendly, enjoyable place to stay.

Having stayed at this wonderful lodge before I don't want to stay anywhere else in Hakuba. I was back again last week and once again the staff were amazingly helpful, which makes such a difference in country where I don't speak the language. With weather conditions variable (a couple of unusual windy days) they helped pick the best ski area...

We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment in January 2016 for 7 nights. It was fabulous. The staff were very helpful and it was easy to access ski fields. We travelled with 2 primary school children and a young adult. The apartment was really good value. It was spacious in terms of japanese accomadation. It had everything you could need....

Just returned from a week ski trip staying at penke panke in wadano village Hakuba. The lodge is a maximum 5 min walk from the sakka slope which is part of the happo one ski resort. From sakka you can easily access the rest of the resort. I personally had some great freshies off the quad that departs sakka. We...

I stayed at Penke Panke with my mother, brother and 19 year old son. Amazing experience. Accommodation was perfect, the lodge was so comfortable, catering for the three different generations that travelled. The staff were amazing, they ferried my mother around, one staff member even took my mother to the hospital and acted as a translator. All meals and service...

A pair of us visited in February for about a week, and the staff were lovely! Very chilled out and sociable. The bar next to the lodge was a great place to hang out in the evenings, and the lodge is just a few minutes walk from the ski lift.
