Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We chose this hotel as we are a family with two little kids (6y/2y old) and it was very important for us to have dinners included. It’s pretty difficult to go out for dinner with two little kids every evening, so this was perfect for us. A very important attraction that we really considered was also the huge pool. And yes, it is huge, like in the pictures, and like the other comments say: totally worth it. Such a great entertainment for our kids every afternoon. Our room was on the last floor. Actually it was a really huge flat with 3 rooms (6 beds - 2 double and two single). Advantage: a lot of space for our things. Disadvantage: pretty cold and difficult to heat up. After first night we asked from reception for an electric heater, and we got one. It was ok for the rest of the nights. Large playing room for children with lots of toys. Food: plenty of it and really various. Nice bar with fireplace for relaxing and having a drink after dinner. Can get loud and crowded sometimes. I recommend it especially if maybe you can get a discount for kids. We paid nothing for both our kids but now I just checked and I see that their policy has changed, extra charges for both kids if I want to book again. Boo!

The hotel is located at entrance of Mittersill, nice area where to walk in the mountains around or to start to visit some of the best trekking/skiing areas in Austria. The hotel is quiet, has large rooms that show a little age, but clean. Breakfast OK. The swimming pool is public one, but is directly accessible for free to the hotel guests. Large parking place.

Stayed at this hotel in Mittersill. Lovely staff and lady owner who is very welcoming and talkative. Located in the centre of a small town. Lots to do for activities. They have a swimming pool. I felt welcome and the lady helped with a short journey rather than a taxi. Thank you!

Enjoyed the week stayed in the hotel. While our family suite was not furnished in the same modern style as on the pictures but it was very clean and comfortable. The absence of any kitchen accessories, such a hot-water kettle, in a family suite was a bit puzzling but not much inconvenience (based on feedback from other guests some family suites have a kitchen corner). The wifi signal was strong and stable throughout the whole hotel (hallelujah!!). Breakfast and dinners in buffet style and more than sufficient with a very good salad bar. Good choice of entrees including various types of meet and fish (2 main entrees per dinner). 25-meter pool with a water slide was a great hit with the kids. There is a slight downside of the hotel sport facilities being open to public but it never got too crowded in either the pool or sauna. It ... supposedly ... did in the gym. The outside guests also make parking in the afternoon/early evening a bit more difficult. The staff of the hotel was very friendly. The location of the hotel is great for access to different ski resorts varying from the ones for serious skiers (KitzSki) to more leisurely skiers with kids (Weisssee). Overall a good stay and we will plan on coming back.

On first hand the hotel looks nice (at least on the hotel website), but once you enter the parking lot you start realizing there is something wrong with this hotel. For example: the hotel lies hidden behind (and is fully enclosed by) surrounding buildings, like offices and social housing. A strange ‘hill’ in front of the hotel appears to be an abandoned indoor tennis hall covered with grass and largely blocks the view on the mountains. The hotel incorporates a public swimming pool and because of that the hallways smell of chlorine. To get to the room you have to wander through a maze, using some very old and small elevators. I am not sure about fire safety? All the family rooms are old and run down. Furniture and finishes are damaged. We have seen at least three rooms, because we were not satisfied with the room standards, especially given the high price (EUR 175, - p / night in low season), but finally we gave up. Above that it was almost impossible to shower, because water pressure was extremely low. That is, hot water pressure was high and cold water pressure was very low. You wil get burned unless you settle for a few drops with normal temperature. We decided to use the facilities in the public swimming pool, which were of a reasonable standard. Unfortunately the quality of the food did not make up for the poor level of the hotel: a buffet with extremely little choice, very basic food (schnitzels, potatoes and pasta) and terrible house wine. The (more expensive) white wines were not cold enough, which was a pity. The personnel in the restaurant tried to make us feel welcome though. And last but not least: while you are eating you can enjoy the view of local people in their bathing suits attending water gym...

I stayed there with a group in the end of September, before the ski season. the hotel itself was good, except for one little weird thing- they don't put soap and shampoo in the rooms! we needed to go and ask them everyday for soaps. Expect for that the hotel was great, clean, good food and big rooms. only problem is it is far from everything, and the places that are near are closed at 6 pm. so there is nothing to do in the evenings which was disappointing,
