A lovely spot for a two night breakaway, we found the room comfortable with superb shower, nice atmosphere, Good food and fast service The pub can be a little noisy we discovered later at night. Breakfast was first class and the service full of care and attention. Would highly recommended after a day at Worcester races.

Popped in last minute with the wife and children and was once again happy with the quality of food and service. The character of the building is also lovely with period features and decor that compliments it. I had beef which was lovely. It came with a large home made Yorkshire and roast potatoes with a good crunch, just the...

Perfect food. Perfect service. Perfect wine. Perfect rooms. We keep returning here when we can. Unpretentious while the team do everything right. The owners take pride in what they do and make sure everything is just right for you. As do all the team. Just go.

My aunt and I stayed here for one night and had a wonderful stay - great staff, great food and comfortable, clean rooms. Although our rooms both faced onto the road, neither of us had any problem with noise and we would certainly recommend this old coaching inn to anyone who, like us, was passing through the area. One minor...

Just a great location for a stay when you're in this lovely part of England. As it is only one hour away from Birmingham definitely a warm recommendation. They have obtained the 2017 good pub award and are best food pub in Worcestershire. Their food indeed is exceptional in taste. Their rooms (7) are very nice, spacious, clean and newly...

Another meeting up with our 4 friends. Great find !! The food had a varied menu and our meals on both nights were most enjoyable. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Lovely comfortable beds and bed linen, spotlessly clean. Fluffy white towels and White Linen toiletries. TV, tea and coffee machine and condiments. Character hotel, former 19th...

Spent 3 nights here whilst exploring the local area. The welcome, the rooms, and the food were all outstanding, and exceptional value for money. The Inn is always busy and has a lovely atmosphere. The quality, flavour and presentation of the food was really quite excellent. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, this is definitely a place to...

Haven't been here for awhile so decided to go tonight as it was our 26th wedding anniversary. It's a lovely pub which has been refurbished to a very high standard. Sadly the food does not represent the high prices. I ordered a steak and ale pie and chips. The pie was quite nice even though it looked like a chip...

Special destination for one night, luxurious room at the front of the inn but still peaceful, comfortable bed and excellent amenities. The service we received on arrival, for dinner and breakfast was friendly and efficient, all food was superb. Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay.. Well located for a visit to Ludlow.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Talbot Inn is an iconic 19th century building located in the stunning Teme valley. Sympathetically restored by its current owners, the building encapsulates an eclectic mix of tradition and rustic charm to provide a very comfortable but informal interior. The seven bedrooms are all designed with individual pieces of furniture and soft furnishings along with stone en suite bathrooms fitted with high quality over head showers (some baths as well). Our food is modern British in style and very much favours the abundance of superb fresh produce available in our local farming area. ... more   less
