I stayed in the RainForest Lodge over the weekend and it was better than I had expected! The location is deep inside Mabira forest so you definitely can disconnect and relax. Service and food were really good with good wines and very fresh ingredients! The wooden cottage was nicely decorated with a balcony from which you can see too many...

This is one if my favourite getaways. You can truly experience the forest without losing any creature comforts. The rooms are fantastically cozy, well finished and equipped, yet you can open the huge windows and feel part of the rainforest. Food is great and service is very warm. One of my favorite getaways.

My most recent visit to the RainForest Lodge, this time only for an extended lunch, allowed to go around the property and see improvements, how well maintained the lodge is and of course sample the food. The staff, from the moment I stepped out of the car to the moment I left, was helpful, friendly and keen to assist, including...

Stopped here on the way to Jinga for a tour and lunch. Can't wait to come back on a long weekend and book a room. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We toured the grounds and sat in the main open air lodge area for a business discussion and light snack and coffee. A really nice experience and if our...

Visited the lodge en route to Jinja where we had been booked for our Christmas vacations.Had passed the place a lot of times. The turn off from the main road is pretty narrow and then you are led to a land of large trees and greenery.Met staff at the barrier who were very pleasant and helpful. Reception staff were exceptional.The...

fresh breeze from the mabira forest, cool ambiance, hospitable staff, fresh breakfast as well as mouth watering buffets. Its one place you need to visit while in Uganda. Along the route there are people stationed with grilled chicken, plantain etc

We wanted a peaceful place to relax during the holidays that wasn't too far from Kampala. The RainForest Lodge in Mabira was perfect. The hotel is extremely relaxing, each room is secluded and has its own private balcony looking out into the rainforest. The staff is kind and relaxed at the hotel. We went on a nature walk and even...

I liked this lodge because it is well embedded in the nature of Mabira Forest. Birds and especially monkeys were all over the cottage. I really liked the cottages because of the typical materials used for construction, like commercial timber, the nice atmosphere inside, nice decorations, the number of windows which allow best experience and nice veranda. The restaurant building...

Very nice and quite place just in the middle of the dark rainforest of mabira. Although very expensive for average travelers. I think the prices are decided to keep this place only for a certain class of travelers. Sometimes one can feel very alone as cottages are widely spread and distance between cottages is more. It is good for people...
