We had a wonderful 4 night stay which included daily transfers to Kruger Park.Staff were so friendly, Gail drove us to a fabulous Elephant experience and stayed with us to take photos! The food and accommodation were 1st class and we really enjoyed meeting other travelers from around the world at the communal dining table for dinner. Lovely small pool...

Amazing place. So accomodating! Everyone who works there goes out of their way to make you feel special. Colin the general manager made us feel like we were VIP's. For me, the rule is easy, if the acommodation is good good I will back. Needles Loodge is my second time, Place is lovely, quiet with frinedly animals around, surise times are exellent for taking photos around. The personnel is good people, and of course the owners, Dennys and his wife. Nice meals, nice little swiming pool, enough for relaxing...

The Kruger Park/Malelane area of South Africa is a wonderful place to visit, and you couldn't ask much more than to be based at Needles. Colin, Denis and Gail are supreme hosts and their great house in the bush. I visited with 4 other familty members around Christmas time for 1 night, this is a very welcoming lodge nestled in the bush with super-helpful staff and owner. Beautiful property with large breakfast/dinner deck where a small herd of Kudu wandered up during breakfast, a wonderful sight to see. Very good location for a stopoff on the way to Mozambique...

My wife and I stayed at Needles for 3 nights in early January 2016. After a long but not unpleasant 5 hour drive we arrived at the lodge and were warmly welcomed by Trafina.
