We called in for a Sunday Lunch and had a table in the busy bar rather than the restaurant room, as it was fully booked - a good sign. A good pint of local Cotswold Way was available and enjoyed and the food order was promptly brought to the table. We ordered the Braised Brisket and Ham, Egg and Chips...

The Falcon at Wotton has recently taken over this pub. We decided to go over and give it a try. The food was almost as good as the Falcon and the staff were pleasant but the decor was awful and the loos were dire and it rather spoiled our evening.

Three of us had lunch at this attractive pub, after a walk earlier this week.Staff attentive and welcoming. Beer (Elmers) excellent. Soup and chips outstanding. Salmon perhaps a bit overdone. Altogether an excellent traditional country pub experience.

We had a lovely meal, it was my second meal at the Rose and Crown and I 'had' to take my husband along, to enjoy a brilliant steak and the visit didn't disappoint, he loved it! Lovely fresh, quality produce. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble.

The meal was fantastic. For starters we had brie wedges with sweet chilli sauce and the crispy fish goujons. The mains where Steak and Ale pie plus chips and the12 veg/3 cheese lasagne. All very good. The steak pie was one of the best I've ever had. Stuffed to the brim with meat. Yum yum. We will definitely be going...

We had dinner here with our ten month old and three year old on a Bank Holiday Saturday. There were no tables in the restaurant, but we were offered the bar. Our kids were a bit tired and I was nervous we might not be welcome. However, the staff really set us at our ease. High chairs were available. Almost...

One of the only locals near us that serve good all day on a Sunday. Great homebred slow cooked brisket of beef with all the timings.... very tasty. Guest ales and friendly service. Only criticism was that the food could have been hotter ...but we will be back.

Having heard nothing but positive feedback from the Rose and Crowns sister restraunt we decided to make a booking here. We were certainly not disappointed and would definitely return. The bar had a good selection including several great local ciders. All meat served is locally sourced (some from their own farm) which is a wonderful touch. The quality of all...

The locals were very welcoming but it took a long time to get served at the bar because no one was manning it when we got there - maybe they were short staffed that day? Food was nice and reasonably priced. Our dog enjoyed the water bowl in the bar and no one was bothered by him being there. Other...
