As said, location is the key here. The motel units overlook the bay with the creek running into it. Water visibility was poor in early May with the runoffs so no whales of any sort seen.. Each room has a pair of deck chairs on a platform to overlook the bay. There's been some updating. Firm (or hard) mattresses, new...

The view from tour deck or large wooden chair is magnificent; the river begins to widen noticeably here and it is sparkling with rainbows and pearly color. Ever day we saw whales as we watched from our chalet, both beluga and minke. Facilities are quite modern and clean. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance, as well as some...

We stayed there for 3 nights in two differents condos. Note that when making a reservation make sure to ask for a condo and/or a cabin with a view, otherwise it is worthless you go there. I must put the empahsis that you are going there for only one thing: The VIEW and it's absolutely amazing, you can even see...

Last May I drove my father and his car from PQ to NS, where he was moving. He wanted to see the towns along the fjord one last time, stay in St. Simeon, and then take the ferry across in the morning. When we arrive in St. Simeon, nothing seemed opened. A call from the local restaurant put us in...

We stayed here for two nights , no rooms available so we ended up in a cabin overlooking the river , the view was magnificent and so were the whales passing by ,we would definitely return to the same place again. A little pricey but definitely worth it for a couple of nights.

I am a picky traveler. I expect nothing less than a clean comfortable room. I saw the location and knew this was where I wanted to stay. Luckily, one of their cabins was available with chairs overlooking the river. Should I mention I saw whales several times sitting outside our cabin? True, as other reviewers have said, there was no...

There seem to be two sites - one on the river and the other on the St. Lawrence, Motel Bo-Fleuve. Amazing, fabulous view. Rooms are shabby and everything ancient. Desperately needs update. A lot of money for what you get. No amenities: no blow dryer, coffee, shampoo ... Bare bones. If you like a jet stream shower, you will at...

On the outside the place looks acceptable. The view is great and the atmosphere is relaxed. Until you enter your room... The room was very hot, no air conditioning, small, the blinds from the patio door fell to the floor as we were trying to close them for some privacy at night. the blinds that were on the back window...
