This is an excellent venue for a golf trip. The hotel is wonderful, with well equipped rooms, functional and clean. If you are lucky to have suite you will find them superb. The golf course is challenging and very well maintained. The work being undertaken at the moment will only enhance the course. Overall superb visit .

If you don't know the area, then the hotel is not easy to find, but once there, it offers a pleasant retreat. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent and the room spacious. Good to note that unlike other golf retreats, the golfers don't take over the place and make you feel unwanted. Just one niggle- wifi reception is erratic.

This is not the typical golf course with a hotel attached. It is more a very fine hotel with a golf course attached. The room we had was extremely comfortable and well appointed with a lovely view over the fairways. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. To cap it all though, we found the quality of the food...

A friend and I were travelling and stopped for a night. We will stay longer next time and explore this part of Derbyshire. The room was large and very quiet. It's wonderful being in the countryside and also having everything you need on site. There's plenty of parking space, the restaurant was superb, breakfast was faultless and everybody is friendly....

We stayed at the Morley Hayes for two nights and we are so happy we decided to choose Morley as our wedding venue. The staff, the food, the grounds and the golf course all very good. Our meal in the Dovecote restaurant was great, 24 people and not one compliant. The hotel rooms are very impressive with some having views...

We stayed on the Sunday night for a wedding. It's quite an impressive hotel as you drive in being wrapped in a golf course. The rooms weren't due for check in until 3pm but the reception asked the cleaners to push our room through quicker as we needed to prepare for the wedding. The rooms were turnaround 45 minutes later...

Our second visit to this popular hotel which is a venue for weddings and has an attractive garden. The staff, particularly in the restaurant, are very polite and well trained and the food very good. It is a hotel that seems to have everything right and very professional.

We stayed here for bed and breakfast for one night. The room was spotless and large enough not to feel crowded even with a sofa and two arm chairs, the view from our room was lovely, staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Had a lovely stay at this rural England gem. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel (a converted farm) offers all the amenities, including a pub, pub restaurant and fine dining - all excellent. The staff were warm, gracious and accommodating. And if you're a golfer, there are two golf coursed (9 and 18 hole) and a driving...
