First of all you should choose this hotel only if you want to spend more time outside in nature. The view around is gorgeous, the big mountains are great but you are quite isolated there, so don't expect to see people on the streets after 6 o clock or restaurants in nearby, No. You'll enjoy nature and great air. We used this hotel as a stop on our route to Italy. Decent room and good facilities (resto, bar, swimming pool,...). Really modern place as well compared to the more abundant traditional looking places.

Used the hotel just for a stop-over on our way to Venice, but I was very surprised by the out-of-the-box hotel concept, where everything looks to be designed to pleasure the typical active hotel guest, like hikers, skiers and other sporty types (both adults and kids). Pity we weren’t staying longer!

We suffered with poor snow conditions but should they have been ok ,the location of the hotel would have been excellent. The rooms were clean and...

McTirol, a newly renovated hotel (2012) is a very nice hotel and is very close to many outdoor activities. There are many good hiking routes very close to the hotel. The view from the hotel is very good. The staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel has a good kitchen - we enjoyed both the breakfast and evening buffet.

We used McTirol as a stopover for our trip from Italy back home. Very well located in the Fernpass, it is a good equiped hotel with friendly people. The rooms have good beds, is very efficient with enough space. There are lot of thing to do (swimming, klettern, games, sauna and (of course) walking. Breakfast was great!!

New and modern design hotel with a nice location. Perfect for biking and hiking in summertime and I guess a perfect location with ski-in ski-out in winterseason. Nice and helpful staff. Pleasant rooms with good comfort. Only "but" is a rather expensive breakfast buffet.
