Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mary is an exceptional host, she went over and above to accommodate us during our one week stay in the B&B - so many lovely personal and homely touches. The B&B itself is spotless, and breakfast was beautiful each morning - made to order with homemade breads on the table. We regularly visit Downings and have booked again to stay in the B&B for two weeks in August. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! Thank you Mary.

Excellent spot!! Stayed here recently on a golf trip to Rosapenna. Room was spotless and breakfast was of a very high standard. Attention to detail and assistance from staff was top notch. Looking forward to going back. Nice village with plenty to keep golfers in good food and nice pints.

Brilliant location opposite the beach in middle of the town so everything is walking distance with a great host. Amazing breakfasts with home made fresh bread and treats each day. They also have a dog friendly room. The room was cleaned with fresh towels provided everyday, Would highly recommend.

Brilliant B and B with superb host. Without asking Mary even voluntarily cleaned a pair of golfing trousers I had thought I was going to have to throw out due to coffee and oil stains. All the positive write ups on the breakfast are spot on, all homemade, including the bread, delicious. The location is unbelievable and ,while we were very lucky to have 3 days of sunshine, regardless of the weather it is such a beautiful area. The photo attached is of the beach at Downing’s Bay right outside the B and B. Brilliant! There is a nice local pub about 200 metres up the road, The Harbour bar, and the golf in the area is very hard to beat. We hope to get back there some day and when we do will definitely be giving Mary a call.

The best part of our trip was staying at Cuan Na Long. Mary is a super host. Breakfast were beautiful, room was nice and tidy, and information was accurate and helpful. Unfortunately the weather was miserable so our golf outing at St Patrick was a bust. I’ll try again.

I stayed two nights and had a wonderful experience. The Bed was lovely and comfortable and not to mention the breakfast was wonderful. Lovely home made bread (2 types) and jams (3 types). Covid regulations all managed in an efficient manner ie you had to book your time for breakfast so not too many in breakfast room at anyone time. Mary was a wonderful host. This B&B is in the heart of Downings close to everything. Will definitely be back!!!

I stayed one night here at the end of the August while on a cycling trip. I received a warm welcome on arrival by the host (Mary?) and was quickly shown where to safely store my bike, and then to my room - much appreciated after a long day in the saddle. The B&B is right on the main street, just across from the lane to the beach, and I was given many local tips before heading out for the evening. My room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Clear and impressive Covid practices were also in place. As an added bonus a bag of delicious home-made oat-cakes were given to me as I set off again the next morning. Much appreciated. Highly recommended.

This was my second stay at Bradley's B&B. It is a lovely place to stay, well located, close to the beach, clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice, breakfast very tasty and the owners very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend for anyone visiting Downings or Donegal.

I stayed in this B&B a couple of times for windsurfing weekends and the sisters were always super hospitable. The hearty breakfast sets you up for a day on the water and the rooms are big and cosy. The added extra is a hose to clean your wetsuit in the back and the general help you receive when you arrive. I will surly visit again.
