Rosguill Park is a Failte Ireland registered three star Caravan and Camping site that caters for both static mobile homes and for touring caravans, dormobiles and tents. This quiet family owned park is located on a stunning peninsula, part of the rugged and beautiful North West Donegal coast. Surrounded by six long, clean, sandy beaches within walking distance and a number of other beaches nearby in Downings it is little wonder that this part of Donegal is fast becoming one of the best locations for water-sports and outdoor activities in Ireland.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have stayed on this site a few times recently. In our experience, it is a well run and organised site with beautiful views and beaches. We love it for its peace and quiet. Dogs welcome, and we always take our two dogs. Lots of dog poo bins around, so no excuse for not picking it up and putting it in a bin. Although, I have noticed quite a few piles close to the beach, which is not good, especially as there are lots of children on the site. Would definitely recommend.

My family & I stayed at Rosguill in May & I can honestly say there isn't a better campsite in the area. The facilities were excellent, toilets & showers are so clean, plenty of space between pitches, friendly, helpful staff & amazing views. The new play park was a huge hit for my three children as well as the beach being minutes away. A brilliant location close to plenty of nice pubs & restaurants too. We can't wait to come stay again!

The most idyllic place I’ve ever stayed. Beautiful views and no commercialism or arcades in sight. Friendly owners and excellent facilities. We used the site for our motorhome which was a pitch with electricity

We recently stayed here in March and have to say the site is amazing. It is run to a very high standard and facilities are excellent. Every pitch has a panoramic view of the beach which is only a short walk away. Can't wait to get back again in July for a longer stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at Rossguill and it was fantastic. We had a touring caravan and although the road to the caravan park is narrow and a bit hilly it is well worth it. The view of the beach and bay from every pitch is breath taking and a very short walk takes you onto it. The beach is safe for swimming although we did try to time our swims for whenever the tide was in over the sandbar just for our own peace of mind. The surfers shower on the way back from the beach was great for rinsing off the sand. With such a beautiful beach so close you don't really need to go anywhere else although a walk to murder hole beach is something we'd recommend. If you walk it's free but there's a €5 charge for the carpark if you take your car. Its a busy site but never felt over crowded or noisy during our stay. The toilets and showers were clean and yes, sometimes there was a queue but that's usual on any campsite. The weather was amazing for our stay but I think this little gem would be great in any weather. We loved it and hope to be back!

We stayed for 16 nights in July 2022 and had a great time (two adults and a toddler). Our tent overlooked the beach - amazing views - and was one minute walk away. The facilities were a bit of a walk but you couldn't beat being right next to the beach. Good facilities: one smallish kitchen with two sinks, two small fridges and a small freezer for ice packs; two outside sinks; three toilets and a sink; and seven showers/toilets. One euro for six mins of hot water. Staff were regularly seen cleaning the facilities and they were friendly and helpful. It's also possible to pay a €20 deposit to key a locker key and charge your phone. Laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer, although the prices were very high. There's a cafe selling ice cream, chocolate and hot drinks. Great playground for toddlers and older kids. A car is needed, Downings is about 10mins drive away, The Singing Pub was great but a tiny bit too far to walk and there are hikes etc an hour away. Good beaches nearby

An amazing experience was had by our family. Peadar and the team really deliver a quality camping experience. We had an absolute ball and the kids really enjoyed the sports and beaches - beautiful white sand and a safe haven in comparison to the more open waters around the coastline. Thanks again - what a class experience we had!

Friendly staff who escorted you right to your spot, clean and well furnished shower facilities, a cafe on site where you can buy tea, coffee, ice cream and even fresh milk, our favourite part was murder hole beach which was a short 2 minute walk from the campsite the views were amazing! Camped for a week with kids and dog. Beautiful location right on the beach. Large pitches, well organised. Nice staff. Kitchen and bathroom facilities clean and well maintained. 10 munute drive into downings or Carrigart for shop s or restaurants. Small playground and pitch and putt course on site. Can't wait to go back. All round it was just fab. My only complaint would be the Shore burger van on site. I know they are selling 'gourmet' burgers, but the prices were criminal. We didn't want all the trimmings on the kids burgers, just cheese and ketchup. €61 for 4 burgers and 3 chips and 2 cokes. Food was nice but not worth the price for frozen chips. they don't even do a half decent veggie burger. There are enough good plant based burgers on the markey now, there is not excuse for serving those mucky deep fried crumbed mushed up veggie patties ever!
