Rosguill Park is a Failte Ireland registered three star Caravan and Camping site that caters for both static mobile homes and for touring caravans, dormobiles and tents. This quiet family owned park is located on a stunning peninsula, part of the rugged and beautiful North West Donegal coast. Surrounded by six long, clean, sandy beaches within walking distance and a number of other beaches nearby in Downings it is little wonder that this part of Donegal is fast becoming one of the best locations for water-sports and outdoor activities in Ireland.

2 night tent stay complete. Beginner camper family of 7 who commited to the venture with 24hrs to get together when we got availability. Pitch with no electric by the beach but perfect site. Amenities very very clean €1 for 6 min shower they were spotless observed a young girl numerous times cleaning not an easy job to do but she was doing a great job. Large free standing fridges & freezers available to use to store food in the kitchen area with toaster and microwave. Shore Burger van on site lovely food limited menu, Office area with Icecream and coffee and cartons of milk available. The beach was very calm and ideal for likes of SUP or kayaking the option to hire equipment would be a great addition to the site as we didn’t realize how calm the water was so we headed off to buy something to get further into the beach but very surprised given the amount of beaches available in the locality no water sport equipment is available to buy or hire in Downings or Carrigart so bring what you need. 15 mins from nearest shop and not much choice in terms of other takeaways if you wish to avail of eating on site. Would recommend & would go back & noted what we require for future visits.

Great place to stay looking forward to coming back in the summer. Might I just suggest because there was a lot of water on the toilet/shower room floors a mop and mop bucket with some disinfectant in them be left inside at the door so as people can dry the floor off after they have had their shower. I've seen it done before and it was a great idea. Hope you don't mind me suggesting this. Denise

We stayed for 16 nights in July 2022 and had a great time (two adults and a toddler). Our tent overlooked the beach - amazing views - and was one minute walk away.
The facilities were a bit of a walk but you couldn't beat being right next to the beach. Good facilities: one smallish kitchen with two sinks, two small fridges and a small freezer for ice packs; two outside sinks; three toilets and a sink; and seven showers/toilets. One euro for six mins of hot water. Staff were regularly seen cleaning the facilities and they were friendly and helpful.
It's also possible to pay a €20 deposit to key a locker key and charge your phone. Laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer, although the prices were very high. There's a cafe selling ice cream, chocolate and hot drinks. Great playground for toddlers and older kids.
A car is needed, Downings is about 10mins drive away, The Singing Pub was great but a tiny bit too far to walk and there are hikes etc an hour away. Good beaches nearby

Stayed for one night- cost 35 euros for MH, 2 adults and one dog and also had to pay a euro for a warm shower ! Yes the pitches are level (concrete) on the side of a hill facing the bay and the bay and beach walks are absolutely stunning, but the WC and showering faculties are well below what was expected. There are about 7 or 8 shower and toilet rooms but then no actual other toilet block - which meant on a morning between 830-930am folk were queuing for the toilet and/or the showers …..the toilets and shower units were full of sand (even though there are showers for people just coming off the beach) and they needed a good clean and updating in my opinion. The shop didn’t really stock much (which meant people in cars were driving off the site down the mile long single track road which motorhomes were using to access the site) and there is no bar or cafe or restaurant on site. The whole place felt a bit tired - maybe just the end of a long season….It didn’t compare one bit to Cierons fabulous site we left at Slieve League to go there !

Beautiful location and short walk to the beach with decent shower facilities at the entrance to the beach
The site is quite hilly and from what I gather there is only one point on the site for both chemical waste and grey water.
The children’s play area is a decent bit away from the actual touring pitches but we felt it was a safe enough environment.
Toilets and showers clean, a little annoying that multiple people try the door whilst you’re on the toilet but a minor detail.
The road in and out is really hilly bumpy and narrow. It can be a little stressful getting there. However once there’s you are in for a treat. Beautiful area. Friendly staff and stunning beach
Would and will go back

We stayed for 4 nights at Rossguill and it was fantastic. We had a touring caravan and although the road to the caravan park is narrow and a bit hilly it is well worth it. The view of the beach and bay from every pitch is breath taking and a very short walk takes you onto it. The beach is safe for swimming although we did try to time our swims for whenever the tide was in over the sandbar just for our own peace of mind. The surfers shower on the way back from the beach was great for rinsing off the sand. With such a beautiful beach so close you don't really need to go anywhere else although a walk to murder hole beach is something we'd recommend. If you walk it's free but there's a €5 charge for the carpark if you take your car. Its a busy site but never felt over crowded or noisy during our stay. The toilets and showers were clean and yes, sometimes there was a queue but that's usual on any campsite. The weather was amazing for our stay but I think this little gem would be great in any weather. We loved it and hope to be back!

We are just back from a camping trip to Rosguill. This site has everything a camper would need; the new campers kitchen with plenty of fridge and freezer space is a great addition.I found all the facilities to be clean and tidy and there was no noise at all after 10pm. The staff at Rosguill are fantastic, every single member of staff I met was really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Rosguill camp site May 2022 (recommended by my parents who stayed here a few years ago). I wasn't quite prepared for the perfect remoteness of the location but it's so idyllic, it completely blew me away! Spectacular part of the country for sure.
The campsite staff were friendly and facilities clean. The field is not flat for camping and does have slopes. We had booked 2 nights but only stayed 1. Nothing wrong with the campsite but we were freezing at night....so be prepared if you go earlier in the year. I also think the site would be benefit from a basic shop, given how far it is to get groceries.
The site has pitch n putt, football pitch and playpark. Please note the cafe is not open off season.
The main reason for our stay was to visit the infamous Murder Hole Beach. The new path created by the farmer is arduous and very steep in places. I was glad I hadn't brought the kuds as I'd read it was a 20 min walk each way but it was nearly double that. Well worth it though, it was breathtaking! A must visit.
Up the road, is a quaint traditional pub 'Siōin Ceoil" (The Singing Pub). Loved the atmosphere and the food was pretty good too.
All in all, a great place to stay!

Ah we have always wanted to come to this part of the world and Rosguil was a great place to stay. Stagger pitches on good level hard standings give great views down to the bay which is a 2 min walk through the campsite. Golden sands and blue seas and great beach showers to wash the sand off. Facilities very good and very clean. (Need a euro for the showers. ) Very friendly staff. It is remote - but we very much liked that but be prepared to drive to get a pint of milk. Only place to eat out locally is the Singing Pub - and it would be a bit of a stretch to walk there and back. However it’s location, although the gateway to fabulous beaches and great countryside, means the weather is not kind unfortunately ! I don’t think I would come here with small children as if the weathers not great there isn’t a lot to do - however lots of families with children were pitched up and looked as if they were having an ok time !

We just spent the one night in Rosguill Holiday Park in our camper van. All the pitches are really spacious have fantastic views. The toilet and shower facilities were well maintained and spotless, the campers kitchen has everything you need but is fairly small, the staff friendly and helpful. The onsite pitch and putt was a real bonus but the kids playground was a bit too far away from the touring pitches to be really useful, it seems to be more for the permanent static caravans. This campsite has direct access to a beautiful beach and is surrounded by more beaches nearby, it’s a lovely place to stay and I’m sure we will be back.

Hi...there are cooking facilities in the kitchen but I did see people cooking by their tents.....coffee can be bought at reception and there is a decent food serving pub 5 mins away by car.
There are more places to choose from in the Downings area.
