Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have stayed twice this summer - perfect location on the beach. Super friendly staff, excellent service, great food and spacious comfortable rooms. Staff were so obliging, organised taxis and advised on where to go in the area. A real home from home!

Before the coronavirus I stayed here for €60, I can’t believe what they’re charging now! Furget about it! I’ll sleep on the beach. There seems to be too much greed these days! In 2 years the price has tripled. Am I unaware of some incredible new amenities here?

We ate here last weekend as a couple. We got a seat very quickly after going in. The service was excellent. Our food was great apart from the chips, they were undercooked. Also, I got chicken wings to start, it's was €8.50 for 5 small wings which I thought was a bit steep. I have eaten here before and always loved it. We will be back over the summer for another visit. There is a good buzz in the Beach hotel. Give it a try.

Ideal location, really clean, staff lovely and nice bar. Walking distance to town. Had dinner there one night and was very nice too. Good carparking, they are trying to get an electric car charge point in but can charge on slow charge if needed. Very helpful owners and staff

Lovely meal and great service in the Beach Hotel last night. Busy Easter Monday but they managed to accommodate us. Special thanks to Yvonne who looked after us and to all the staff. The children in our group got great attention too. We will be back!

We arrived early (2pm) reception confirmed check in was not until 4pm. Which I fully understand. I asked reception to check with housekeeping to see if our room was ready or perhaps to ask housekeeping to prioritize prepping the room… No joy. At 4pm reception advised our room would not be ready “for a while” but alternative room. ( no beach view) was ready. We took it… so first question. Does it take two hours to prep a room. We where the only guests waiting yo complete an early check in? Roll on, we came down for dinner. Into restaurant. “ sorry Sir, you will have to eat in the bar, the restaurant is just for the golfers” So we had our main meal in the bar which was more like a children’s playground.. So 185 euro for a room I didn’t want and a meal that was more like a canteen.. How NOT to run a hotel

The staff was welcoming and very helpful. Enjoyed every breakfast and dinner! It's conveniently located 2 minutes away from the Rosapenna Golf Club. I'd highly recommend the Sandy Hills Links course. Look forward to staying at the Beach Hotel on future visits.

We eat here pretty much every Thursday night for the Wine & Dine menu and always bring our guests here when they come to stay. I can honestly say we have never had a disappointing visit either for hospitality or food. My favourite is the chefs soups..made from scratch and full of flavour like the homemade soup you imagine ..the White Chocolate and Raspberry Roulade is to die fur and the Panacotta is heavenly ..I could praise the whole menu but you're only allowed a set amount of words ..5 star all the way ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
